The base is interesting and i will send it along. It is very rare to find a shade this size done in this design that is not a reproduction. As far as the flower pedal base is marked on the bottom B 72 no clue to who the maker is. I am not sure what the base is made of but it is heavy and again not sure if it is made to look rough and textured or if this severely pitted. The rewired cord and light seems not to be working but the wire just runs right up underneath. The top looks a little crooked to the base but you prob could bed the shade holder to adjust for the bend in the make of the mold. This stands 8 tall from top to the tip of the shade holder and 3 1/2 wide. If you have absolutely no interest in the base, I will not ship it and try to save some shipping.

This is a beautiful antique clear glass hobnail wall light. It is quite old as can be seen by the electrical cord. The lamp mounts on a very nice black wrought iron frame which attaches to the wall. Antique Victorian Library Lamp Pull Down Frame Pear Shade Complete NICE Prisms
This is beautiful old lamp. It is all complete. The shade is in great shape. No chips or cracks. It measures 14 inches on the bottom diameter. The pull down part works well. The font is in good shape, too. The turner is marked Miller& co. There is no wick, and the top on the font filler has a hole, don't know if it is supposed to be that way or not. I would guess all the pieces to be original to the lamp. The shade paint is beautiful, has pears on both sides and is quite detailed. It has no missing prisms. It has not been electrified. Antique CAST IRON HANGING LAMP FRAME Parlor Bracket Oil Part 1800s-1900s
Awesome antique cast iron hanging parlor lamp frame/part Originally designed to hold an oil lamp(I think) It looks like someone had converted it to an electrical light many decades ago, as there is a socket in the"bowl" part that has cloth cord/wiring pieces attached to it and a hole on the side of the bowl for the wire to go through; these wires were snipped off since then and it looks like it wouldn't be too difficult to remove the socket piece to revert it back to an oil lamp holder Smaller in size than some of these old frames you see. It measures approx. 15" long and 7" across; probably designed to hold a smaller lamp-the bowl is just under 3" across at the top, narrowing down to just under 2" across as the bottom The iron is ornate and looks Art Nouveau in style. And the bowl piece was painted? a copper ... morecolor; the rest of it is more of a grey color, with what looks kind of like brass tones showing through in places; there's a small hanging hook at the top on the inside part as well as the top hanging ring, so you could easily turn this into some other type of hanging décor piece for your antique home or garden This piece is very old. PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION Up for auction is a Vintage brushed goldtone color Metal Hanging Ceiling Light. This does have some age to it and shows some signs of wear from use. It has not been tested since it needs re-wired. The height is approx. 20" tall. The large round ring where a shade would sit measures approx. 10" across on the inside. The ring has an ornate flower design and the 3 arms that hold the chains have a twisted design. There are also small holes on the underside of the ring which probably held glass prisms but none are included. The glass chimney measures approx. 10" high. There is a label on the underside of the ceiling cover that says Underwriters Laboratories Lavery& Co as shown in the pictures. The light switch looks to be on the very bottom and just turns.
