It's painted off white though this is chipping away. Glass panes have a ruby red diamond center surrounded with yellowish orange and pink pieces. Lantern has a door with latch. MEASUREMENTS Approx 23" long x 13" at widest. CONDITION Item shows a lot of wear including chipping paint and surface rust. The bottom glass piece is broken. The top glass piece is missing, two panes have fallen out, and one pane is missing a yellow piece of glass. The frames of the two panes that have fallen out are a little misshapen. Up for sale is a VINTAGE WROUGHT IRON BLUE. GREEN, BROWN STAIN GLASS HANGING LIGHT LAMP. The stained glass is REAL glass, NOT plastic. Measures approximately 25 inches tall by 11 inches wide. Comes with around 20 feet of chain/cord. Each GLASS panel measures 13 1/4 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide. I removed the finial at the bottom so it would stand up for taking photos. It's been reattached(just screws on) It's in decent condition. But does have a few minor issues. 1) Was really dusty when I got it. I've cleaned it. But it's"guy cleaned" meaning it may need a bit more. Photos were taken BEFORE I cleaned it) 2) The cord has been repaired in three places. 3) Missing one of the brass screw knobs that hold it together. Has been replaced with a regular hex nut. Iron Art Nouveau-Deco 4 Orange Slag Stained Art Glass Panels Swag Lamp vintage
I can find no markings on this 4 sided cast iron lamp that I assume meant to be a swag because of the chain through top of finial. It weights 10 pounds. It appears to be very old from the patina marks. It stands 15" high and as photos shows there are slots for 4 pieces of stained glass. Photo shows the 4 thick swirled stained glass in hues of swirled oranges like you'de picture hot lava. Also that one panel has had a skillful repair thats only noticeable if removed from lamp. And is not in a compromising condition because of mend. Each windowed frame measures 4-3/4" wide and 7" tall. All I see is 4 original flat head screws about halfway down on outer 3 sided corner moldings(photo 3 shows) Original light socket, no color variations throughout. I'm hardly an expert but the ornate craftsmanship and distinct patterns says ... morethis is a piece of the art nouveau-deco period. The electrical cord is not cloth but not much newer than that, and has no breaks or mends. Where the original iron chain ends a length of newer added, works fine. For many years it hung on a second story porch and the vivid orange colors radiated in the dark distance like a beacon.

This is a superb antique French timeworn stained glass lantern that would be perfect for indoors or outdoors. It simply fits around an existing light fitting and is such a wonderful period display piece. It dates from the early 1900s and is such a charming confection. The wrought iron frame is embellished with scrolls and curls with the top border of the stained glass section having scrolls with Fleur de Lys ends. The frame finish is distressed with age and it could be waxed. Painted or left just as it comes. The frame is all good and strong. ANTIQUE FRENCH SPANISH GOTHIC IRON 3 LANTERN LAMP CHANDELIER AMBER STAINED GLASS
Very beautiful. Antique to vintage, French or Spanish, Gothic style, chandelier. Features a large, ornate, scrolled wrought iron frame which is black with gold gilt accents. The chandelier is 3 arm/light. Each arm houses a large lantern with 4 stained glass panels. The glass is dark amber which changes to a lovely gold in the light. At certain angles and in certain light, the fixture appears to have two different colors of glass. The glass is textured on the interior with a smooth exterior. The glass is held in place with tabs on the interior of the lanterns and with screws at the top of the lantern frames. Each lantern is topped with an ornate, large twisted finial. This accent is repeated on the bottom of the fixture. A floral pattern bobeche sits below each lantern. The lanterns are open on the top and bottom. The are angled with the top ... moresections wider and they narrow toward the bottom. The chandelier is quite nice and in very good condition. It retains the original ceiling cover/canopy. The canopy is fluted and the gold and black colors are repeated here as well. There is a yellow UL sticker inside the canopy but there are no manufacturer's marks. The initials of"G.S. are painted on the top of one of the arms. I do not know if this is a maker's mark or if this was added sometime later. It is not visible when the chandelier is hanging. The wiring is cloth wrapped. The cloth has worn in a few areas but the wiring is still in good condition. The sockets appear to have been updated at some point. Each arms houses one socket and utilizes one standard sized bulb. The chandelier is large and measures 27" in diameter and 24" tall(excluding chain) There is approximately 17" of wire and hanging chain(original black iron) Each of the lantern arms is 13" tall from bottom to top of finial.
