Antique Vintage Lighting Industrial Aluminum Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixture 30's
Description This listing is for a set of 10(ten) 1930's Vintage Light Fixtures. They were made by Curtis Lighting out of Chicago. As you can tell by the pictures. Everything that is in the picture is what you will be receiving. These fixtures are aluminum and in great shape to be from the 30's. They originally came out of a 2-story department store and have been sitting in the second story of this store ever since they replaced the lighting with florescent lights. The fixtures have been in the same store the entire time and very well cared for all these years. I have 10 of the actual large round light fixtures which if you look closely at the 10th picture. You can tell there is a gap on the under side which allows light to be reflected onto the ceiling. There may be some small area's with a few tiny rust spots, but not very noticeable ... moreas you can tell by the pictures. There are four layers and a shiny top which adds to the look of the fixture itself. These measure from the base to the tip of the top approximately 8 1/2 inches. The diameter measuring from the bottom outer edge is approximately 21 3/8" wide. I have 6 of the cone shaped pieces that fit into the larger round fixture itself. They have 3 longer pieces that attach onto the cone. At the bottom of these. There is a prong which simply slips into the fixture. I am missing one of the longer pieces which attach to the cone, however, you could easily make one yourself. As you can tell by the pictures, one of them is even held on by a screw(which could be cut down more flush to make it not as noticeable) Hanging from the ceiling-it would not be noticeable at all. These measure 12 3/4" measuring from the ground standing on the 3 prongs to the tip of the cone. The cone itself measures 8 3/4" and the diameter of the smaller hole on the top of the cone measures 3/4" The widest part of the cone at the bottom measures 3 3/16" I have 6 of the ceiling fixtures that attach to the top of the ceiling. Large Industrial Lighting Hood Aluminum Ceiling Fixture Rustic Hanging Design
This is a very large aluminum hood that was used for lighting of some sort.I just don't know what. But it is perfect for Industrial or Rustic design and it would be very simple to wire it to your own specifications.you might also just be able to buy something to use without doing a custom job.I am not sure. This is a large hood.it has some scratches and I think that only adds to the patina. I have several of these and I think that I won't find something like this again. The measurements are 15.5" from top to bottom.18.5" across, the top piece measures 3.5" and the hole is 2 1/4"
