This old industrial light was made by Appleton Electric Company. I think it's mad e mainly of aluminum with a glass dome lens. I really don't know much about it. But it seems like it would be a good one to convert into a regular 110 table lamp, ceiling, or wall fixture. It's pictured sitting on a roll of tape. There's a little piece on the side at the bottom that sticks down just enough to be in the way. It has 2 rivets that could be drilled out if you want to remove it. Not including that piece it measures about 12 1/2" tall. About 4 1/2" across at the bottom and nearly 9" across at it's widest point. It has scuffs. Scraches, use-wear, and some speckles of spray paint on and around the red tag. I have another one. If this one does well I may offer it to the highest bidder at the same price(high bid each) if that buyer wants a pair. It weighs around 10 lbs. unpacked. Vintage Pyle National Industrial Light Fixtures. You are bidding on one.But you can bid or make offers on up to 4 of these.They are all in excellent condition. They measure 8-1/2" long and the cage is just under 4" in diameter. Thick-walled cast iron.Galvanized housing with two 3/4" NPT hubs. Heavy gauge iron cage with copper plating. Heavy porcelain socket with copper inards. Both the housing and socket is marked Pyle National. Lot of four very early. Turn of the century, almost primitive, steel wire explosion proof light bulb guards. Only two are pictured but all four are identical.Four inches tall each. These came from the rafters of the former H&R Manufactory who made all kinds of early steel wire products. These could have been from their r&d dept- not sure. Not cleaned in any fashion.

Vintage Crouse Hinds labeled fixture removed from old Kansas building. Glass is good. Has explosion cage with no breaks or bends. All screws present. 12 inches diameter for shade and the lamp itself is about 11.5 tall. Original wire leads left to socket. Everything left original. Great finish that has pitting and age wear from decades of use and exposure. Green reflector/shade with white interior is good and clean. But has a spot or two where enamel has chipped, a small ding and w ear to the bottom rolled edge of the shade. The photos are of the actual lamp. You will need to wire this lamp to your specification. It has not been tested.
