They have a wonderful prismatic quality that really comes alive when the fixture is lighted. I also love the curvaceous edges. The fixture ... moreis stamped brass and this has aged to a only-time-can-create bronze-like finish. Beautiful! I only gently polished with 0000 steel wool. Winding its way up through the chains is new cloth-covered wiring. Just perfect! Each socket has a Perkins turn-key in working order. An early dimming system! ABOUT THE LENGTH: The fixture is now 30-inches long. I can remove about 18-inches of chain if you need it shorter. If you need the fixture longer please contact me. This fixture is ideal for most home styles built before 1930. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. The ball finial looks like someone used a vise-grip on it at some point. Closer inspection reveals this to be a manufacturing irregularity. This is hard to see way up on the ceiling. The patina may in fact be an original oil-rubbed finish. COLOR: Brass with bronze-like patina. SIZE: The fixture hangs down 30-inches. The ceiling pan is 14-inches wide. From shade to shade is 17-inches. The shades have a 2-1/4-inch fitter. CONDITION: The only issue is stress cracks to the very bottom of the fitt

I purchased this many years ago out of an old veterans club. It's very well made with deep casting. The shades are true period pieces. One may wish to add shades of there choice since this chandelier will mesh in multiple decors. This would look great also with some fine Steuben art glass shades. This is a fine Mission style 4&4 Chandelier Ceiling Fixture. Rewired and ready to hang, circa 1910+ Measures 29&1/4 inches tall and 21&1/2 inches wide with the shades on Comes complete with 4 electric and 4 gas style shades in the neat ribbed Holophane style. The shade have 2&1/4 inch and 4 inch fitter lips. Vintage Industrial Holophane Glass 5 Acorn Bullet Shades From Dental Fixture
Offered is this vintage industrial set of five Holophane glass acorn or bullet shades. I could not find a signature or mark but they look pretty early from the teens or twenties and probably came off an old dental fixture. The glass has a slight tint to it possibly leaded. Each shade has minor imperfections or chips in the textured glass but it's very difficult to see it the texture especially in the light. One shade has a line inside but it's not a crack but a straw mark from the mold and it's smooth. I would consider this typical wear from age and handling and not a detraction. Will be very hard to see mounted on a pendant or chandelier. Please refer to the pictures because they are part of the description. Early Pair Ornate Victorian Light Fixtures Japanned Copper Holophane Shades
Very Early Pair of Japanned Copper washed Victorian Light Fixtures from about 1898 to 1905. All eight sockets are working rare early short type General Electric 50 candle power. Comes with matching Rare square Holophane Shades correct to that time period. some damage to ceiling bells from years of electrolysis between dissimilar metals. please see pictures) does not stand out when hanging from a ceiling medallion. please ask any questions you may have.

Vintage Industrial Glass Shades Mercury Holophane Pendant Lamp Steampunk
Offered is this pair of antique vintage industrial mercury glass holophane style shades. These were stripped of their mercury coating some time ago and were found mounted to rusty old fixtures that I was not able to save. The ribbed glass diffuses the light similar to a holophane style shade and looks really nice. Perfect for making single industrial pendants/ceiling fixtures. Just add hardware and wire. Each shade measures 8" in diameter by 7" long and would take a 3.5" shade fitter. Both shades are in excellent condition with some light chipping around the rim where the fitters would mount and a very small blemish on bruise on the rim of one shade. Good luck!

Heisey Glass Light Shades made for Holophane
These three shades were made by Heisey for Holophane. These are signed"Holophane" Patent date is July 14. 1896. The date is also on the shade. It is written as"PAT JULY 14- 96. The ribbed crosshatch pattern was made to give the shades a better refraction from the bulb. The fitter is 2 1/2 inches and the flared flower base is 5 1/2 inches. In picture 3 you will see a pen pointing to one chip out of the fitter on one shade. It does not lead to a crack, and it will not be seen once it is screwed into the fitter on the chandelier or light fixture. These are very hard to find shades. The shades are dirty. WE only charge the cost of real shipping as per eBay. This comes with a Chandelier piece from which both of these shades can be hung. But it is Very Rusty and may not be salvageable. There are some chips around the fitters of one glass shade. The two shades are slightly different. One is an iridescent amber color the other is clear glass. One does not have a fitter but they are of very similar sizes. 5 1/2" tall x 9" at widest. 4 Zipper-Glass Electric Shades-Holophane-For-Brass-Ceiling Fixture
4 ANTIQUE Holophane style original Electric Zippered Clear Glass Light Shade. Circa 1900s. They all have a 21/4" fitter. They stand 3 1/2 inches tall, and their wide bottoms are about 5 inches. They are in pristine condition. There are no flea bites, chips, or cracks. Inside the fitter just below the rim it is very rough. This is where the original manufacturer broke the shade from the mold, and filed this area down. This is how we know these are original shades and not a reproduction. They all ring loud and clear when they are twinked with an index finger. The pattern looks like a zipper. Please check the other auctions, as there are antique shades in most of them. There are 4 gas Zipper shades in one of these auctions.
