Measures about 4 3/8" tall and the outside measurement of opening that fits into a fixture is 2 3/8" There are no cracks but there is a factory line that looks like a crack. You are invited to bid on this antique Edwardian Holophane light pendant shade(20222) with original metal light fitting c1909. This lovely original Holophane prismatic shade is made from frosted pressed ribbed glass with ruffled edge. Around the rim of the pendant collar there is the Holophane trademark name Pat.1909 No. 20222. This shade comes with its original metal gallery fittings and wooden ceiling plate. The shade measures approx. 5" tall by 7.75" across the base. When fittings are attached it measures approx. 8.5" long. The glass shade is in good condition. There are a couple of chips to the pendant collar which can't be seen when the light gallery is attached. There is no other damage to the shade. THIS IS FOR 1 GLASS GLOBE AND FIBERGLASS SHADE. 2 AVAILABLE. Large Art Deco vintage Holophane industrial or commercial ceiling lighting fixture. This vintage industrial fixture has the standard Holophane prismatic glass shade and a rare exterior fiberglass shade cover that fits over the prismatic glass difuser shade to cover it and focus the light downward. The vintage industrial Holophane hanging light dates from around the 1950's to the 1960's. It has a reflective flat glass cover with a center hole that is secured onto the bottom of the globe. This piece reflects the light even more. The globe also has a tanish gold fiberglass cover that slips over top of the globe. The tapered metal globe mount has two set screws to hold the heavy glass globe in place. It is oval shaped(reminds me of a turtle's back. It is marked made in the U.S.A. for the General Electric Co. It also has the indication"street side" on the more square end. It is not marked Holophane. But definitely reminds me of the vintage holophane glass shades I've had in the past. Vintage Industrial Holophane Glass 5 Acorn Bullet Shades From Dental Fixture
Offered is this vintage industrial set of five Holophane glass acorn or bullet shades. I could not find a signature or mark but they look pretty early from the teens or twenties and probably came off an old dental fixture. The glass has a slight tint to it possibly leaded. Each shade has minor imperfections or chips in the textured glass but it's very difficult to see it the texture especially in the light. One shade has a line inside but it's not a crack but a straw mark from the mold and it's smooth. I would consider this typical wear from age and handling and not a detraction. Will be very hard to see mounted on a pendant or chandelier. Please refer to the pictures because they are part of the description. Vintage Industrial Glass Shades Mercury Holophane Pendant Lamp Steampunk
Offered is this pair of antique vintage industrial mercury glass holophane style shades. These were stripped of their mercury coating some time ago and were found mounted to rusty old fixtures that I was not able to save. The ribbed glass diffuses the light similar to a holophane style shade and looks really nice. Perfect for making single industrial pendants/ceiling fixtures. Just add hardware and wire. Each shade measures 8" in diameter by 7" long and would take a 3.5" shade fitter. Both shades are in excellent condition with some light chipping around the rim where the fitters would mount and a very small blemish on bruise on the rim of one shade. Good luck!

Heisey Glass Light Shades made for Holophane
These three shades were made by Heisey for Holophane. These are signed"Holophane" Patent date is July 14. 1896. The date is also on the shade. It is written as"PAT JULY 14- 96. The ribbed crosshatch pattern was made to give the shades a better refraction from the bulb. The fitter is 2 1/2 inches and the flared flower base is 5 1/2 inches. In picture 3 you will see a pen pointing to one chip out of the fitter on one shade. It does not lead to a crack, and it will not be seen once it is screwed into the fitter on the chandelier or light fixture. These are very hard to find shades. The shades are dirty. 3 1/4 Inch Glass Ball Shade Holophane ?
This 31/4 Glass Shade is round. And it appears to be from the holophane family. The shade is intact, and there does appear to be some straw lines or cracks running along the under side of the shade.It appears to be very usable in this condition. There is a rough area around the lower part of the fitter rim. This is there because the manufacturer has pooped the inner part of the fitter out, and it was hand filed to not have sharp points. This is how you can tell it is an original shade, and not a reproduction. Please check the other auctions, as there are antique shades in most of them. Please wait for an invoice before you pay. 4 Zipper-Glass Electric Shades-Holophane-For-Brass-Ceiling Fixture
4 ANTIQUE Holophane style original Electric Zippered Clear Glass Light Shade. Circa 1900s. They all have a 21/4" fitter. They stand 3 1/2 inches tall, and their wide bottoms are about 5 inches. They are in pristine condition. There are no flea bites, chips, or cracks. Inside the fitter just below the rim it is very rough. This is where the original manufacturer broke the shade from the mold, and filed this area down. This is how we know these are original shades and not a reproduction. They all ring loud and clear when they are twinked with an index finger. The pattern looks like a zipper. Please check the other auctions, as there are antique shades in most of them. There are 4 gas Zipper shades in one of these auctions.
