62" XXL French Antique Bronze Gas Chandelier Art Nouveau Gasolier Hanging Lamp

We can see a predominant Art Nouveau theme with Louis XVI elements. It originally had a central gas lamp and two additional lamps at each end. The gas lamps are now converted to hold electric bulbs. This is a counterweighted lamp: the center section can be extended/retracted with a chain and pulley system. This system works as it should except the chains could be longer. The bronzework on this chandelier is excellent. With high quality construction and nicely done details. It is nicely patinated to a medium bronze color and we did not attempt any restoration or polishing. The wiring and sockets are old and in poor condition and must be replaced before use. Antique Vintage Light Fixture Gas And Electric Hanging Fixture No Shades
Here is a great old gas/electric combo fixture. And all of the gas plumbing appears to be intact. The finish is worn over the entire piece, all components except for the gas plumbing are brass. The gas valves move freely, though there is no wiring at the moment. One of the sockets is frozen, so the pull chain doesn't move. A complete rewire is needed anyway, so all of the issues can be addressed at that time. There are no shades included. And there are 2 fitter screws that are missing. The fitter size is 2 1/4" for the electric, and 1 1/2" for the gas shades. The finial appears to be a replacement(see pics) There is a nipple at the end for mounting/gas connect. But no other bracketry. There is some paint on the canopy as well(see pics) This will be partially disassembled for shipment. We were told that it came out of a mansion that was being torn down. There are no cracks or any other damage. It is a light Amber color with Rose Floral etching. Including chimneys, are all in great condition.no chips, cracks or repairs. The chimneys do have some wear where they fit inside the metal base around the socket. Shade have a few marks on the very bottom where they rest on the wires. The metal does have some wear and patina. The wood has a few small spots where it looked like the finish was scratched by the shade being put on but has been touched-up. Brass 2 arm Chandelier Hanging Drop light Ornate Victorian Design Gas P&S 2 arm
For sale is an antique 2 arm brass Victorian chandelier. It features an ornate design and P&S sockets pat. Feb 23. 1904. The light is in good condition for the age. Some slight bending and wear can be found as shown in photos. Wiring appears to be original and should be replaced before use. Measurements are- 36-1/2" from ceiling to light. And 19" wide at the widest part. Light is being sold as is. Please review all photos and ask any questions prior to purchasing. May be partially dissembled to save on shipping. Thanks for looking. Vintage Brass Victorian Gas Style Hanging Ceiling Chandelier Double Shade
For your consideration is a brass ceiling fixture probably from the later 20th century which looks reminiscent of a Victorian gas lamp. It is ready to hang from most standard electrical ceiling boxes. Complete with straps. It is just as it was taken down. The lamp holders are porcelain, the rest of the lamp appears to be brass(it is non-magnetic) The canopy is separated where it looks to have been soldered at one time, but functions. The outside measurements are approx. 18" wide x 24" long, from the end of the pipe to the bottoms of the sockets. The brass is discolored, there are signs of solder at some joints, and the canopy is in two rather than one piece. There are only three set screws to hold the shades in the fixture, instead of six(three are missing) The two arms are similar, but the bends are slightly different. You can ... moresee that if you look closely. It takes shades with a 2 1/4" fitter. If after all that, this little chandelier is still of interest to you, you will possibly be pleased to find that the shipping is free anywhere in the lower 48.
