The sockets have a E with an arrow going through it. It is quite a heavy piece at almost 14 pounds. The piece hangs 22" from the ceiling and is 17" wide. The ceiling cap is made of a different material- it feels like a heavy tin. Would look great with some Quezal shades. I have included two etched glass iridescent finish shades. Which came with the piece when purchased. I do not believe they are original to the piece and are more art nouveau in style. I do my best to fully describe an item. But feel free to ask questions. Item Photos, DETAILS Vintage 3 Wrought Iron Hammered Wall Sconce Fixtures Medieval Gothic Electric Candle from a Chicago Church Estate Listing is for a set of 3 wrought iron wall sconce fixtures. Featuring a hammered texture this wall sconce fixture set consists of two smaller sconces on either side of a larger sconce. Sconces appear to have been modified with electrical wiring and vintage electric candles. Electric candles have also been decorated with wax to resemble a candle with wax dripping down the side. Architecturally these sconces have a medieval sense to them reminiscent of Gothic decor and would not be out of place if used as church or religious decor. In fact these sconces were part of a lot of items that did come from various churches in Chicago Area. Would make a good addition to your vintage medieval or gothic home decor or ... morereally they could be modified to fit a number of decor schemes. Condition: Cosmetically the sconces are in GREAT Shape with no denting or cracking. Very sturdy. Heavy and well constructed. Sconces have been modified in terms of electrical wiring. Unusual and eclectic. Many begin with a low opening bid and few rarely carry a reserve. Up for your perusal is this fabulous find! This is a vintage/ antique hammered iron or copper light fixture. It is definitely older. But exact age is unknown. Within the last 10 years it was rewired and turned into a swag lamp or portable fixture. Perfect for a dark corner or even exterior use if covered. It has a great arts and crafts/ mission design. The glass which is housed inside the metal casing has a painted interior which is wearing off. Up for sale is a 4 Light Hammered Bronze Chandelier. I am not sure if this is more Gothic Revival or Arts and Crafts in style. It was retailed by John? of Pennsylvania. The label is a gold foil and is 1/2 missing. The piece has cloth wiring and is in working condition. The sockets have a E with an arrow going through it. It is quite a heavy piece at almost 14 pounds. The piece hangs 22" from the ceiling and is 17" wide. The ceiling cap is made of a different material- it feels like a heavy tin. Would look great with some Quezal shades. I have included two etched glass iridescent finish shades. Which came with the piece when purchased. This a fabulous antique Stickley Era hammered brass and wrought iron hanging pendant lamp. It measures 17" tall and the design is that of the Arts& Crafts/ Spanish Revival Era featuring florets. Leaves, and a beautiful large amber glass prism. It is very detailed and has a hammered surface that appears copper in color although I believe the metal is actually brass or wrought iron. The upper part of the lamp is brass as is shown by the interior section. The original cloth wiring is still intact and lamp is in good working condition but the new owner may want to have wiring replaced just to be safe. All are in very good condition but the amber prism does have flea bite nicks around the edges. VINTAGE REVIVAL HAMMERED SCROLLED IRON CHANDELIER WOOD CANDLE SLEEVES FROM ITALY
Beautiful. 5 light chandelier from Italy. This is a vintage fixture, dating to the 1950s. It features Revival style. The black wrought iron has been hammered on the edges and is scrolled on the cage style upper section. There are small iron flowers attached to the scrolled iron. The lower section features a circular design(drum) with ornately patterned design in a reticulated fashion. The chandelier has fluted bobeches and very substantial, wooden candle sleeve covers. The candle sleeves have faux, melted/dripping wax detail. The bottom of the fixture has a decorative finial. The chandelier is extremely nice in both quality(it is HEAVY) and design. It retains the original iron ceiling canopy/cover. Inside the canopy is a vintage, yellow, UL sticker as well as a partial manufacturer's sticker. The manufacturer's sticker is not legible, ... morebut the original, metal"Made in Italy" tag is still present. The chandelier is in very good condition. There is some slight aging to the iron's patina which enhances its character. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition and the chandelier is in working order. This is a beautiful chandelier. The chandelier measures 21" tall and 21" in diameter. There is a 10" section of original iron chain included as well. The ceiling canopy is cupped(not flat to the ceiling) so that.
