PAIR NATIONAL X-RAY GREEN MERCURY GLASS MEDICAL SHADES #410
Here is a pair of vintage medical drop light shades from the 1915-1920 era made by the National X-Ray Reflector Co. of Chicago. The inside and outside surfaces are a raised swirl design which was used by the company on many of these types of lights. There are a few spots/scratches of wear to the surface on one shade and the other has some larger scratch areas but overall they are in very good condition considering there age. I did not find any cracks or chips on the glass shades. These come with the original ceiling caps. Collar attachments and hanging shafts. The caps are in fair condition with some paint spotting, a little surface wear and the edges have a few dings. The collar pieces have oxidation and need refinishing if the buyer does not want to replace them. There are some newer screws/bolts on the collar pieces. The shades with collars ... moreare 9"H, The glass shade bottoms are 9 1/4"W x 9 1/2" deep. I will remove the collar attachments when shipped for easier packing. Buyer pays for shipping.
