Antique Tudor Revival Medieval Gothic Deco Nouveau Moe-Bridges Style Chandelier
This is an antique chandelier light fixture with five lights. It came out of a victorian home and was probably a replacement when the gaslights were taken out. It looks like a Moe-Bridges light fixture but I am not sure because I can't find any marks on it. It has been professionally rewired and works great. It is heavy and made of brass and painted metal. It has red. Green and gold colors in the decoration. There are some chips on some of the painted areas especially the finial that hangs down on the bottom of the fixture. I didn't want to change or alter the finish at all so I left it as is. I hung the fixture on a ladder to photograph it hanging but I am sure it would look much better hanging from the ceiling in your home. The actual body of the fixture measures 25" long and about 20" wide. The chain and ceiling cover ... moremeasure another 24" long. The fixture and chain measure approximately 49" long. Antique Hand Wrought Iron 8 Light Chandelier Copper/Brass Gothic Spanish Revival
Absolutely stunning chandelier. Incredibly heavy 40 lbs or more. Just over 30 inches across making a 60 inch circumference. It is hanging down about 40 inches the way I have hooked it for the photos. Each post is 15 inches long from the leaf tip to the end of the brass and copper ball. This looks as though it has been re painted. It has been painted over on the electric wires. The iron has some slight pitting underneath in small areas but it is a normal issue considering its age. There are 4 chains plus a cap with more chain to hang lower if needed. The ceramic candles for the seventh sconce were broken so this fixture will be shipped with white cardboard candles(the difference will be difficult to even notice) TWO Only once sconce is now restored. After payment is received it will take me two weeks to complete the remaining set. The back-plates are quite impressive. I did not over-restore the set. So the sconces retain their distinctive patina. While the fixtures are brass, the back-plates seem to be bronze, and with a burnished gold polychrome over(an original effect) Much of this polychrome has faded in time, pleasingly, I think. PAIR ANTIQUE Gothic Tudor Renaissance Revival WALL SCONCE lamps lights 1920s
I have up for sale a wonderful matching pair of Antique Vintage circa 1920s or there abouts Gothic Tudor Wall Sconces.Complete with original Amber Crackle Glass Chimney Shades. The underlying metal appears to be brass- with factory applied finish. The metal frame measures approx 14-1/2" with the amber chimney- the height is approx 16" The back plate measures approx 4-1/4" wide x 9-3/8" tall. Both sconce frames are in Excellent Original as found Condition! There are no damages and wear is minimal-the finish is excellent. No breaks. No cracks, Etc. The lamps will need new switches- as the old ones are absent. The shades are in very good shape. They have some minor nicking/ nibbles on the top rims but this is fairly trivial and not something at all noticeable. One shade has a small chip. Shown upclose in pic#10. They are ... morea heavy thick glass- and have excellent color and effect when lit. The bulbs that fit the lamp have to be the long slender type. You may have to screw the bulbs in from the top as the inner diameter of the shades are approx the same as the bulb and they will slide through the bottom but the sides touch on the lower section of the bulb. No big deal just do this from the top and no problems.They are old replacement shades-dating to the same era- almost identical to the originals-which are shown in my last pic. I have 3 more identical sconces- the only difference is that the shades on the set that is listed here are a bit darker in color and slightly heavier. From the same era. Vintage Gothic Revival Arts & Crafts Slag Glass Cast Iron Porch Light Fixture
International bidders MUST contact me prior to bidding for a shipping estimate! Up for sale is a Vintage Cast Iron Slag Glass Gothic Arts& Crafts Mission Porch Light Fixture. This fixture has a great revival look. features removable slag glass panels. They were originally installed via 2 L-brackets. So that they could slide in. Now, the bottom brackets are still there, but the top brackets have eroded away, or they were possibly cut out so that the glass could be removed. This is all the original glass that came with the fixture. The only way I could figure out how to properly hold the glass in, was to use velcro on the top side. Believe it or not, it works pretty well! I took a photo showing the little velcro tabs. Obviously you could remove those tabs if you wanted to use a different method. The glass panels will be removing during ... moreshipping. Otherwise. The glass is free of any chips or cracks. The fixture is very old and vintage, and has a few areas that are weathered& have small splits(near the bottom finial part) The paint isn't in the best condition but has the weathered appeal. The base is cast iron; the other part of the fixture(the fram part where the glass goes) is not cast iron, it's some sort of painted metal. The entire fixture is heavy and solid, weighing in at about 5 ounds. The fixture has a new porcelain socket& brand new wiring. It's in excellent workding condition! The entire fixture measures 12" long by approximately 6" wide. The glass has a green swirl design but when lit. It almost looks yellow. It's made from metal and called polychrome finish with gold color background and highlights of blue and red in center of what looks to me like a shield design. There is a crown shape in center. Here’s another Spanish Mediterranean Gothic Spanish Revival style in home décor during the late 1940's- 1950's and early 1960’s. This Wall Sconce is made out of genuine wrought iron. It has a flat matte painted finish and is very large measuring in at approximately 20-1/4" inches tall by 9" inches wide at the candle plates which holds two taper candles. The sconce measures approximately 4-4-1/2" inches out from the wall depending on your viewing angle and the curvature underneath the candle plate. Hope this helps. This is a great looking pair of vintage wrought iron Gothic/Spanish revival candleholder wall sconces. I'm not sure how old they are. But you can see they have good age. One measures 12 1/2 inches tall. The other 13 inches(31.8 cm, 33 cm) They're each 9 inches wide(22.9 cm) They protrude from the wall 3 3/4 inches(9.5 cm) The detailed hand work is really beautiful. They're all original and have never been repainted. They each have a little hole on the flat star base of the candleholder section. So with a little ingenuity they can actually be turned into lights if you like. They're both in very good condition. With just embedded dust on them and a few tiny areas where paint has chipped off. They are approximately 14" high and approximately 9" in depth. They have the original wiring in place. So it may have to be replaced before mounting. Restored Antique Original Gothic English Tudor Revival Chandeliere
A restored original 1920-1930's English Tudor/Gothic revival style 5 light chandelier finished in oil rubbed bronze with color chrome accents. The restoration was done by Rejuvenation. Of Portland, Oregon and was purchased by me about ten years ago for $750. Currently, the company is selling similar fixtures for nearly $1000. This impressive piece is made of a a heavy cast metal of some sort and weighs nearly 12 lbs. It has medieval knight panels that ribbon around the fixture's center and is accented with subtle bits of blue, red and gold chrome. There are also small flower medallions that circle the neck. The sockets were replaced as was all wiring and the fixture works beautifully. The sockets accept a standard bulb allowing for a myriad of choices in bulb color, shape or design. Pair of Tudor, Gothic or Spanish Revival Cast Bronze Sconces from 20's
This high-quality pair of Tudor. Gothic and/or Spanish Revival cast bronze double-light wall fixtures dates back to the 1920's. They don't make fixtures like this anymore. These are very substantial but are elegant. Each sconce measures 17" in height(to the top of the light bulb) with a 7 1/2" width, and projects 3 1/2" from the wall. The round back plate has a 5" diameter. The sconce design features shields and fleur de lis. The sconces have been rewired at some point and have functioning switches, but I would recommend having them inspected by an electrcian. They are in great condition and still have their original patina and what appears to be the original painted metal candle sleeves. Other internet sites specializing in vintage lighting have similar sconces in comparable condition for between $685- $795. Antique/Vintage Gothic Art Deco Spanish Revival Wall Sconces NEW Wiring Sockets
A pair of heavy ornate antique/vintage electric wall two-light sconces in working order. The old sockets were broken or missing so I had them replaced with new sockets and wiring. A white plastic sleeve is also included which slips over the cardboard lined socket to give the old style look of a candle. They have been tested and are working. The hand on/off switches are not wired as most people will want to operate them from a wall switch. They are made of what appears to be cast iron with a polychrome type finish which does show some age wear plus some house paint on the edges. Approximately 8.5" wide by 10" high. The wiring is original and they still have the original bakelite on/ off switches. These are super rare. The light extends out from the wall approx 7" The crackle glass is amber in color. The metal is a bronze color, but I don't know whether it's bronze or brass. There is a long chain measuring approx 90" in length. The electrical cord'inside' the chain has a small portion of electrical tape around it, which I'm assuming covers a break. The light works well. This a gorgeous vintage wrought iron 3-candle wall sconce. It is Gothic/ Medieval/ Spanish in style and measures a very large 32 1/2" tall and candle holders project 6 1/2" out from the wall. Candle holders measure 3 1/4" across. It is in very good, solid condition but does have some surface rust(mostly located on the candle holders themselves) this rust is not deep rust and has not eaten through the metal(I, personally, think this gives it character) but it would be a fairly easy job to sand and repaint, if desired. We are pleased to offer this very beautiful and quite unique. Mid Century Vintage, 7 light, 6 arm chandelier. The fixture is in the Spanish Revival design with some Gothic elements present. It features a bird cage form which encircles a large, milk glass globe/shade in the center. There are 6 large arms with unique, tall, half shades of iron. The iron has a cut/pierced pattern which is not uniform and appears hand forged. The candle sleeves are very nice with a realistic, dripped wax feature. The iron has a bronzed/gilded finish which adds to its beauty. This is a GORGEOUS chandelier. It is in very good condition with only minor evidence of age/use. The finish does have a slightly aged patina. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition.
