This is a vintage Gothic hanging chandelier. The light/ shade is 23 inches long. If the tassel is included in that measurement. It is 29 inches long. This light has a 13 foot chain and a 15 foot cord. There is a slight stain on one of the shade panels. Please see the close up picture to view this stain. This is a large light, it is 25" in height, diameter of the light is 16" and the size of the backing plate, that mounts to a wall, is 15" x 5" The wiring has been upgraded in the recent past, and it works great. I was told that this beautiful, ornate light was removed from an early Public Works building, in Palmdale, California, that was demolished in the 1970's. This light was salvaged from that building. They are in original and very good condition. On one light, all of the glass panels are in perfect condition, and on the other light, two of the glass panels have been repaired, but it is very hard to see where the two glass panels have been repaired. For your consideration we are so very delighted to make available this truly unique pair of Antique/Vintage wall sconces. Each sconce has been meticulously crafted entirely by hand from metal with an old world rustic look and feel. Each sconce has an elaborate filigree mesh or lattice if you will. Used to safeguard what would have been the flame or torch in primordial times. Much like what might be found in an old European Castles or even Saint Augustine Florida.
