Up for consideration is a fine set of 6 bronze 2 arm wall sconces. The sconces are very thick. Heavy, robust, very masculine if I may add they are surprisingly larger than what shows in the photos. The sconces measure 12 1/2 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide and 6 inches deep. They weigh about 3 1/2 pound each. The sconces are bronze and are the Spanish Revival Form with a hammered texture. This antique circa 1900 Bronze Sculpture depicts a Medieval Gothic Castle. At the corners are 12 ¾ inch tall spires with tall glass ... morewindows in between. Each side measures 8 ¾ inches wide and the overall height to the top of the center spire is 18 ¼ inches. The bronze surface retains its original patina and you can see evidence of gold gilt, of which the majority has worn away over the years. As you look at the close-up photographs, you will see that this solid bronze lamp shade is finely detailed and in perfect condition. There is something missing from the top of the center spire, but I don’t believe it was a cross. All the designs on this bronze shade are non-religious. At the bottom, you can see three threaded holes, which were used to attach this shade to a fixture. Inside are three opaque glass panels, which have fine, thin cast lines. Two of these pieces of glass are antique and one is a replacement held in with hot glue. This replaced glass is the only problem with this circa 1900 Bronze Lamp Shade. Cast in a heavy bronze it has six candle holders which have been at some time wired for electricity.It dates to 1860. It weighs over 8 kilos and comes with its original chain and ceiling rose. It is a deep colour where the bronze has developed a deep patina. I have three of these lamps in different sizes. And Picture 11 shows one of my lamps that I had restored and rewired, as a guide for you to see how wonderful these can look. Up for sale is a 4 Light Hammered Bronze Chandelier. I am not sure if this is more Gothic Revival or Arts and Crafts in style. It was retailed by John? of Pennsylvania. The label is a gold foil and is 1/2 missing. The piece has cloth wiring and is in working condition. The sockets have a E with an arrow going through it. It is quite a heavy piece at almost 14 pounds. The piece hangs 22" from the ceiling and is 17" wide. The ceiling cap is made of a different material- it feels like a heavy tin. Would look great with some Quezal shades. I have included two etched glass iridescent finish shades. Which came with the piece when purchased. Up for sale is an original vintage 1920's brass/bronze 5-lite chandelier with its Medieval period styling. The sculpted body with coat of arms. Castle design ceiling cap and socket bobeches are common to that era of lighting. The dainty looking flowers in the center of the body add a softer touch to the medieval theme. The chain even looks of the period. All but the chain is made of heavy cast brass/bronze. The outstanding painted finish is completely original, just professionally cleaned and sealed to preserve its beauty. All that's been replaced are socket covers and wiring for safety. They are bronze with two arms with a back plate that has a variety of themes. There is some panther heads that are peeping out from behind a shield. There are some Art Nouveau type floral embellishment in the center. A Gothic stained glass window type back drop with a winged Gargoyle on the bottom. Some of the sconces have a blue backplate and a few have a burgundy color. Both look to be original coloration. Two other sconces have been painted and sometime in the past with a silver color and one sconce has been stripped completely of color.These sconces are of nice scale not too big but chunky enough to display in a room with a 10. 12 or 14 foot ceiling. We are pleased to offer this beautiful chandelier! This 5 light fixture dates to the early half of the 20th century. It features heavy. Substantial bronze in a hammered finish. The chandelier has fabulous, scrolled/curved arms. There are notched/incised patterns on the center column. The bobeches are extremely ornate. They feature an open design with severe, pointed perimeters. The chandelier retains the original ceiling attachment as well as the original ceiling medallion which fits over and around the ceiling canopy. The medallion is patterned to match the bobeches. This is a tremendous chandelier. It is not marked, which is surprising because it is of fine quality. It is in very good condition with a stunning, coppery, gilded finish that is still mostly intact. Pair of Tudor, Gothic or Spanish Revival Cast Bronze Sconces from 20's
This high-quality pair of Tudor. Gothic and/or Spanish Revival cast bronze double-light wall fixtures dates back to the 1920's. They don't make fixtures like this anymore. These are very substantial but are elegant. Each sconce measures 17" in height(to the top of the light bulb) with a 7 1/2" width, and projects 3 1/2" from the wall. The round back plate has a 5" diameter. The sconce design features shields and fleur de lis. The sconces have been rewired at some point and have functioning switches, but I would recommend having them inspected by an electrcian. They are in great condition and still have their original patina and what appears to be the original painted metal candle sleeves. Other internet sites specializing in vintage lighting have similar sconces in comparable condition for between $685- $795. Please ... morenote that the period-correct bulbs do not come with the fixtures, although I will let you know where to find them if you are interested in this look.

Old Vintage Antique Victorian Gothic Bronze Gargoyle or Griffin Sconce Gas Light. It is approx 16" tall and 16" wide without lamp part added. It is made of bronze except for the tail and the lamp which are made of wrought iron. There is a bat figure as the knob which turns the gas to it on or off. The lamp needs a new clip to secure it in place right. Now it just hangs on by its tail. You can make one from a paper clip or something like that I'm sure. There is some kind of gold paint on it and it looks like there is a small crack in the decorative piece above the wings. Other than that it's in great shape for its age. Five working heavy bronze electric wall sconces. Probably from the 1920s. I can't decipher the makers name, but each is marked NY PAT PEND and 1002 S. Candle cups are separately marked 1004-S. Each sconce measures 10 1/2 inches long; projects about 4 1/2 inches from the wall and at the widest point of the shield, about 4 1/2 inches wide. Polychrome is fading, but they are decorated with shades of blue and pink(probably faded red. Each weighs about 2 pounds for a total shipping weight of 10 pounds before packing. There is excess polish on all of them, so they do need a good cleaning, but they are absolutely worth the effort. All are rewired with new sockets. Antique Flat Black Iron& Gold Leaf Chandelier 1920's Dramatic Tudor. Gothic, Art Deco Removed from 1920's Tudor Cottage Uses 6 Standard Base bulbs. We used 40 watt chandelier bulbs on a dimmer. Looked great! Stamped 0128 and PAT. on each leaf inside. Each leaf seems to be made of Brass. But when you look at the inside of fixture where the stampings are, metal is bronze in color. We really don't know a thing about light fixtures, I hope this helps. Please email with any questions. Width at widest point: 18" From top(ceiling) to bottom: 18" Weights about 12.5 lbs. Great Shape!
