Overall this piece measures in at 15"H with an 18" hanging length. Condition is excellent as shown: Minus some minute sharp edges on the rim of the beige glass shade piece is void of chips. Cracks, lines, heavy scratches, paint splatter etc.The upper glass crown is void of damage as well. The fixture suspends by 3 metal ball chains, 2 have ball endings while one has a pinched end(please view pics) The metal socket cover and canopy show some wear to the paint as shown. Very nice clean Art Nouveau or early Art Deco Lamp Shade made of pink frosted glass in a very unusual form. The shade is in clean condition with only some small chipsinside the rim(which is attaching the shade to the light fixture- therefor it will be invisible) The shade is about 6 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches tall. We are pleased to offer this fabulous. Vintage chandelier. This gorgeous fixture dates to the 1970s and is an Art Nouveau Revival chandelier. The chandelier features a turned wood(walnut) columnar body and 5 brass arms. The arms are exceptionally designed with Nouveau or Aesthetic curves and scrolls. The arms are opened in design, not solid. They are accented with large flowers, also accomplished with an opened design. The chandelier is a down light fixture. Each arm houses a large, frosted glass globe shade. The shades have a large, fluted pattern in that they have concave sections. They have a band of large roses which are embossed into the glass. There is also a beaded design. Their housing is brass. The chandelier has a large hanging ring finial just above the wooden column and a small brass bottom finial. It retains the original wiring ... moreand hanging chain as well as the original ceiling cover/canopy. The canopy is also embossed with a floral medallion. This is a beautiful fixture. The wood has a medium stain and the brass has an antiqued finish. The chandelier is in very good condition with only very minor signs of age/use. There are some light scuffs to the wood, but nothing distracting. The brass a few"age spots" but they are very minor. The glass is good with some very minor areas of wear to the frosted finish. Their fitters have the appropriate wear. The wiring is original but in good condition. There is not a manufacturer's sticker or stamp but the vintage yellow UL sticker is still present. We purchased two of these chandeliers from the same auction. They have the same wood and brass designs but the shades are different. Each chandelier is listed separately. The chandelier measures 18" tall. It is 20" in diameter with the shades attached and 17" without the shades on the fixture. The shades are 6" tall. RARE Czech Glass Fruit & Flower Chandelier 6 Clusters of Grapes Flower Dome
Czech Glass Fruit and Flower Chandelier c 1920's- 1930's This is a beautiful Czech glass chandelier! The central dome or basket is made of glass flowers in different shades of frosted blues. Amber, white and plum. Each flower has a tiny glass bead that secures it to the frame. There are six scrolled arms that each suspend one cluster of illuminated grapes. There are six arms that extend to upward to the mounting bracket. Each arm is wrapped in a gilded floral vine with foliage. The arms each have a small loop that they lock into so they balance the weight of the glass equally. The mounting bracket is decorated in the same gilded flowers and foliage design. I will remove the flower bowl and each cluster of grapes and package them so that they aren't crushed in shipping. Condition notes: The wiring on the chandelier works but the ... morefixture was removed before I had a chance to take a photo. The dome is lit with one 90 watt bulb and each cluster of grapes takes a candelabra bulb. There is some paint loss on the metal areas. The gilded floral sections look good but there are a few black"caps" located at the top of the clusters of grapes I would repaint black. There is one glass"flower" that is broken in half(other half is missing) and one glass flower that is missing. There is one grape that is broken in half. There are some rub marks on some of the grapes. This piece has been washed but I did not try to scrub the marks off of the glass because I was concerned that I would disrupt the frosted look. There could be a few other glass pieces that are missing but it's so dense packed. I don't see any open areas. Measurements: 35" high(bracket to the bottom of the grapes) x 24" wide. I was fortunate enough to purchase a large selection from an estate. When they are gone. They are gone. This is part of it. I do not know how old but they are in good shape and were extremely dirty before being cleaned. A green scrubby helps clean what I missed. This white milk glass shade has a slight pinkish tint to it when held against pure white. In the center is a sputnik design with the 5 sockets.there is one 2" socket and four 4" sockets.there are"stems" which have gold gilt leaves on them and at the tops of some of the stems you place a Murano Glass rosette or flower head. there are 45 hand blown ... moreglass rosettes aka florettes total.ranging in size from 3 1/2" down to 2 1/2" All are clear glass with infused gold inside. the candle covers need replaces as you can see.you will need one 2" one and four 4" candle covers. the chain is pretty with a Moroccan type links and it measures 31" long. the orb shape of the chandelier is 17" across all ways. there are no breaks or chips in the 45 glass flowers. No breaks or repairs in the metal chandelier. No missing leaves. just needs a little more cleaning and spruced up a bit. I have cleaned all the glass flowers. and cleaned each leaf, and had the chandelier all nice and clean.I still see a little bit of dust now down near the center. Now. The only area of concern is the little caps that go on once you put the flower head on.these are missing. Not sure what they originally looked like.I have seen some chandeliers on the internet that have like a raspberry prunt, but I think this is a permanent method.I think the ones on this one were a rubber tip perhaps so they could be easily removed.just not sure. Vintage heavy glass ceiling light fixture shade. It has a flower petal shape and I have 2 matching ones listed. It is 13" across and 3" deep. The center hole is just over 1/2" across. There is no cracks or chips in the glass that I could see. There are some small chiggers around the center hole and they would be covered when it is installed. The center has a 3" flat spot that should have a large washer or brass piece to cover it. There is some imperfections from manufacturing it in the center that would also be covered with the same washer. Nice shade and if you need 2 I have them.
