They were removed from a home that was built in the late 1800's. I have reason to believe these lights were original to the home- making them well over 115 years old! Measures 16 34" tall and 10 3/4" wide. They stick out 4 3/4" from the wall. They are in very good antique condition- I find no cracks. Chips or dents. I wiped them off, but they could use a little better cleaning. I pretty much left them as I found them in order not to disturb the nice natural patina they have acquired from age. Pair of beautiful late Victorian or Art Nouveau electrified candle sconces in ornate brass. They are marked on the back with PCCF. And +++++ underneath. At first I had thought they were made for a church(and they may well have been) but some internet research found another piece with the PCCF markings. Skinner Auctions sold a French Art Nouveau fireplace screen marked PCCF and 151CC for $652 in June of 2011. So these are definitely high end sconces; substantial. Ornate and beautiful metalwork from all angles. They measure approximately 8-1/2" high. 6-1/4" deep, and 3" wide at candle cup. Probably made for candles. I believe someone has wired them. I have not tested them, though from the look of the wires, they have been used. They are marked in pen"R" and"L" on the back.

Antique French Victorian Ornate Gas Electric Chandelier Rococo Brass Original
This as found chandelier was recently removed from a house built in 1896 and it appears to be all original. The fixture measures 33” tall x 18” x 10” and is all brass with ¾” diameter stem. 5” diameter canopy and lots and lots of finely cast brass ornament in the French Rococo flavor. It retains original surface color overall and boats an outrageous asymmetrical design with twisting gas arms flanking a 3 ¼” drop shade holder, presumably for a stalactite shade.
