We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Mid Century, 1960s drum chandelier. This stunning, Hollywood Regency fixture features elements of both French and Italian design. The fixture is made of bronzed, textural brass. The chandelier is tiered with the upper, 3 banded tier, housing the chain connectors which attach to the lower tier. The lower tier features seven"window" sections which are accented/framed with an overlay of ornate brass trim. Inside each window are 6 strands of 3 crystal beads. The 4 light housing is located in this lower tier. The chandelier hangs from an ornate chain with a 10.5" long, beaded and swirled glass, decorative connecter. The chandelier is in very good. They date from about the mid 1960's. The sconces have their original yellow paint. They are in fine condition with no chips cracks or repairs. This gorgeous petite gilt chandelier features 4 lights with a gilt leaf finish. Verdigris wheat stalks and 8 white rose’s. It has been rewired and is in perfect working condition. It measures 18” long. By 17” wide. It was rewired at some time in the past and has no ceiling plate as it has 14 feet of new cord and chain that were added to accommodate the room it was displayed in. So it can be placed anywhere in a room on a ceiling hook and plugged into a wall socket. The chain features a thumb flip switch on the chain for turning off and on. The cord could be shortened and a ceiling cap added and it could easily be hard wired into a ceiling outlet ... moreif buyer prefers. The chandelier has 4 tall and two short wheat stalks. It appears that it should have had 2 more small wheat stalks to balance the decoration. However there is no visual indication that there were 4 to begin with. The original turn switch works perfectly.
