There are 4 cracked flowers and about 7 missing in all on both pieces, but they could be replaced. I think that these might have been made in the 1970's to the 1980's or so. They are newly wired and have screw holes in the back plate for mounting them. 1940 French Bronze Cherub Victorian Porcelain Rose Chandelier Murano Balls
This amazing chandelier was found at the Paris flea market last spring! Housing 3 lights. Adorning wonderful swags of crystal balls and green velvet back plates with porcelain roses. Bronze cherubs sitting on top of plates. Roses have flea bites. This beauty also has rare glass ribbon ball drops made in Murano. There are a few small chips on some balls. Also three long rare crystal prisms! A real stunner! This is a sturdy chandelier. Usual wear to vintage lighting. And it is marked on the wire cone with a patent number which indicates age prior to 1920’s. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL AND RARE DESIGN. Antique(c1940s) French wall sconce lamps. This grand pair mimic climbing rose bushes which are attached to center poles/stakes. The vines/branches and leaves are gilded iron tole with ivory/white porcelain roses in full bloom. Each sconce features 7 porcelain roses. The sconces are quite grand in size and measure 29" tall. They have ornate wall plates of gilded bronze or brass with a flower petal design surrounded with a beaded pattern. Long arms extend the sconces out from the wall for an even grander effect. The sconces operate with one regular sized, 60 watt bulb(not the small candelabra type bulbs) Each sconce retains their original harp and finial. The finials are also porcelain roses. This is a beautiful, elegant pair of sconces with a truly unique design. THEY ARE GORGEOUS! ... moreThey are in very good condition for their age. The roses do have some minor chips on their edges, but nothing that is too noticeable or out of the ordinary and certainly nothing distracting. We are pleased to offer this BEAUTIUFL. Vintage(Mid Century) Country French, Italian/Tuscan, 5 arm chandelier. This beautiful chandelier features an ornate, gilded wrought iron frame and a large porcelain body. The iron is scrolled and has a gilded and aged finish. The bobeches feature a hammered, fluted design. The porcelain body is urn/vase shaped. The bottom section has a textured, waffled pattern in white porcelain and dimensional acanthus leaves. The leaves alternate in colors of Dijon(golden yellow"mustard" and pale green. The leaf design, in the alternating colors, continues throughout the sectioned body of the chandelier. Each section is defined with a golden porcelain band which is bordered in russet. The porcelain has an aged glazed finish. The chandelier has an ornate top finial as well as the ceiling cover/canopy. WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY. Stunning porcelain and tole bird cage style Italian chandelier with macaroni beads all over. I have never seen this chandelier ever in my life. I assure you to find another one will not be easy. Its got great porcelain pieces all over it and stunning roses and most of them are in great condition with only minor flea bites. Its just incredible, the detail, the shape, the macaroni beads, its a Shabby chic girls dream come true. hahaha! Two of the porcelain pieces do have cracks(I show in photos) that were glued but no porcelain is missing. They were clean breaks. Also one prism doesn't match its a different shape, only saw this after serious inspection and could easily be switched out with one to match. Comes with ceiling canopy and the 3 hanging lights inside do work as you can see in photos, but all old wiring should ... morebe checked by a professional. Also I just noticed that the bottom porcelain piece where the ball hangs from, is missing some porcelain, will add photo, its one corner of it is knicked off. Its just sooooo cool. Offered is a lovely vintage chandelier with extraordinary detail throughout. This beautiful fixtures features while porcelain vase center and bobeches. Brass feathers sprouting from the top and smokes prisms dangling. Beautiful fixture with a lot of potential for many decors. Has a very unique and distinctive look. In picture 8 one of the coverings is broken. but these easily can slip off and be replaced. Length from where I have it hanging to the bottom of the lamp is 34 inches. Width is 23 1/4 inches. The tinted prisms dangling on top are crystals are 2 inches. With each crystal there is a small round crystal above each one which measures 1/2 in each. Offered is a nice large lot of vintage never used. Fine white porcelain chandelier roses. There are a total of 23 fine porcelain, hand made roses in this lot. As you can see no two are alike. These range in size from 1.25 inches to approximately 2 inches in diameter All have a tiny crystal bead centers with a top glass/ crystal jewel/prisms so they can be hung. The bead and jewels can be removed so the roses can be directly mounted onto the chandeliers or lamp branches. I believe these to be of French origin as the Italian ones are generally not as fine as these. The roses are approximately 60 years old and have never been used. All are in excellent condition!
