I display them around my home on console tables,on top of piles of books, in curios, and under glass domes. It is a wonderful oval shape and has a gorgeous glass rosette flower on the top. It is about 8 inches long by 5 1/4 wide. It has stunning rock crystal beads that sparkle. All intact and Original. This is a special treasure that you don't find very often. The gilt tole frame has a nice aged patina and tiers of delicate branches draped with very unique glass beads. Blue opaline glass drops are dripping from 4 levels and there is a blue opaline bobeche at the bottom. The three candelabra arms have lovely old ribbed clear bobeches which tie in nicely with the original beaded swags. Currently working with e-14 base sockets. You can easily change to US sockets or use adapters if desired. All vintage wiring should be checked and installed by a qualified person. Pale pink glass beads, with other smaller orange beads, forming a fringe around a shaped wire frame. The frame itself is covered in old metallic lame braid. I'd estimate that it dates c1920s so, unsurprisingly, the thread holding the beads on has broken in places& it now requires some restoration, involving re-threading the beads& sewing them onto the braid(there is a little bag of loose beads with the shade too. The frame part measures 25cm or approx 10" across& it comes with a chain& ceiling rose but would obviously need new electrical wire. WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY. Stunning porcelain and tole bird cage style Italian chandelier with macaroni beads all over. I have never seen this chandelier ever in my life. I assure you to find another one will not be easy. Its got great porcelain pieces all over it and stunning roses and most of them are in great condition with only minor flea bites. Its just incredible, the detail, the shape, the macaroni beads, its a Shabby chic girls dream come true. hahaha! Two of the porcelain pieces do have cracks(I show in photos) that were glued but no porcelain is missing. They were clean breaks. Also one prism doesn't match its a different shape, only saw this after serious inspection and could easily be switched out with one to match. Comes with ceiling canopy and the 3 hanging lights inside do work as you can see in photos, but all old wiring should ... morebe checked by a professional. Also I just noticed that the bottom porcelain piece where the ball hangs from, is missing some porcelain, will add photo, its one corner of it is knicked off. Its just sooooo cool. It has 6 lights, macaroni beaded strands, rosette tipped branches and ultra rare turquoise ball drops. Measuring 18 inches in diameter and 22 inches long without any chain, there is an additional 15 inches of chain and lead wire so height can be adjusted. In very good condition, the only flaw I can see is that the arms don't sit perfectly straight which seems to be the norm with these old French hand made chandeliers. I have added 6 new US standard light sockets and the wiring is working well. All vintage wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician. Antique French Beaded Crystal Swags~Old Clear Drop Prisms~Single Light Sconce
Up for your consideration today is a gorgeous all original c1900 single light sconce loaded with antique clear drop ball prisms. Works fine as you can see. It does have the chain with the metal links and inline switch but could easily be converted to a ceiling light- you will only need to add a ceiling cap and connect directly. This is a beautiful early 1900 french sconce with all the crystal beads and prisms. It measures approx 15" from top of light to bottom(not counting chain which is approx 120" long) and 14" wide. All the prisms seem to be in great condition but could be a small chip or so but hard detect if so. This would certainly make a statement hanging in the bedroom or bath. OH SO YUMMY PAIR OF SCONCES. This is for a lovely pair of sconces with beaded arms and mirrored backs. They are not electrified and I am not sure if they can be there are no screws inside. However there are holes for wires so you be the judge, perhaps you could glue the sockets in and wire up since there is no screw. I am only selling these because I have a similar pair or I would never part with these macaroni beaded is so hard to find. They are for candles and there is paint loss to the gold areas where you would place the candles so please see photos, I am sure you could touch them up with some gold paint if you wanted to. The mirrored backs have black spotting from age however that just adds to their charm. Vintage Antique 1920's French Beaded Chandelier Ceiling Light Amethyst Crystals
For your consideration is this lovely 1920's French beaded chandelier. It is complete. The wiring looks good and is great condition. This fabulous little chandelier measures 23" The chain and matching canopy are 9" and the chandelier, without the long amethyst drop on the bottom is 10 1/2" Perfect for a small space, such as an foyer, powder room, closet or little girls room. It takes one candelabra base light bulb. The chandelier does have all of it's crystals, everything is intact and it has been cleaned. It has 5 amethyst drops around the top and 15 around the center. Up for consideration is an Antique late 19th Century French beaded Empire 9 light Bronze and crystal chandelier. It measures 44 inches tall by 18 inches across. The fixture has 6 exterior lights with 3 interior lights. The piece has wonderful crystal drapes along the outside of the ring and large crystal ball on the bottom. The ring itself has inset wired square tiles. This is a very high quality chandelier. It looks to have been cleaned and rewired at one time time. It functions well. Free pickup and local delivery. The large outer ring and three upper concentric rings are decorated with acanthus leaf glass mounts. There are six missing acanthus leaves, and may be a few missing crystal chains, but we will be happy source and install any needed crystals prior to shipment. Don’t miss out on my weekly Auctions! WOW what a Stunning Pair of OLD French Sconces! Nice Old Macaroni Beaded Sconces are so hard to find these days. Especially a pair, so if you are looking or one you certainly do not want to miss out on these French ones! This is a pair of vintage wall electrical sconces with scrolls of macaroni beads, tear drop crystal prisms, and little pink drop prisms. The actual sconce is made out of gold colored metal with a nice scrolls design. Each one has 5 swag links of macaroni beads on the front and 3 of each side for a total of 11, 35 tear drop crystal prisms, and 10 little pink drop prisms. The pink drops might look orange in the pictures, but they are pink. They have 2 arms with newly wired electrical sockets and glass bobaches. They are both in great working condition as you can see from one of the pictures ... morethat all 4 lights are on. They use regular small light bulbs and hook up straight to your existing wall wires. They are both in great condition with no prisms or beads missing. Each one measures about 16" tall with the bottom prisms and about 10-3/4" wide a its highest points.
