This is a listing for One of a matching Pair of Stunning Antique French Flying Cherub ceiling Chandeliers. This lovely Light is gilded gesso and and finished with hanging Crystal prismatic drops. This has just been removed from a house were it was in use and looks fantastic when lit up but would need rewiring to current standards. Antique FLYING CHERUB Double Glass CRYSTAL Gesso Ceiling Light Fitting
Flying Cherub Chandelier This is a super architectural item. It is an original flying gesso cherub. Holding not one but two cut glass crystal chandeliers. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PICTURES The cherub measures 330 mm(13 inches) from head to toe and the arm width is 250 mm(10 inches) The drops are made up of two sections. A round top bead and a long faceted piece. The wiring and holders are original. Which shows that this is a true period piece, not a modern reproduction. The cherub has a chain to hang it from and I have included a ceiling rose, which is more modern, but has to be better than a white plastic one! The wiring will need replacing before use.
