UP FOR AUCTION IS A PAIR OF ANTIQUE RETRO STYLE MILK GLASS LIGHT GLOBES. THESE ARE FABULOUS AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THEY EACH MEASURE ABOUT 11" TALL& ALMOST 12" AT THE WIDEST DIMENSION. THE OPENING MEASURES 5 3/4" FROM RIM EDGE TO RIM EDGE. THESE PROBABLY CAME OUT OF AN INDUSTRIAL OR LARGE OFFICE BUILDING AND POSSIBLY WERE USED ON LARGE CEILING FANS. THEY ARE MILK GLASS WITH BLACK STRIPES AROUND THE 3 PYRAMID EDGES. THERE IS SOME BLACK LOSS. BUT SHOULD BE EASY TOUCH UP, IF YOU EVEN DESIRE TO DO SO. THE RIM EDGES EACH HAVE SMALL FLAKE CHIPS. Auction is for 3 matching Holophane industrial lights that are on excellent shape considering they are around 100 years old-just about the nicest examples I have ever seen. Please look at all pictures. I can send additional if needed. Some original wiring is still present so they will need rewired. 1 Holophane Ceiling Light#2120 with very rare drop in bottom 3rd piece. Industrial loft chic ribbed glass light fixture shade with nickel pull cord ceiling mount. The shade measures approximately 6 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide at its widest point. Fitter opening is 3 3/16" OD. Bottom opening is 4 1/4" ID. The drop in bottom measures 4 1/4" X 4 3/4" The mount base is about 5 1/4" wide. With mount attached. Piece is about 9 3/4" tall. The 2 piece shade held together by 4 metal clips. The fitter rim reads: Holophane ... moreR NO 2120. 2 Holophane Wall Sconce Lights#6506. Pull cords have been removed The matching pair goes with the ceiling fixture. But the shades are crystal clear. The shades measure approximately 4 1/4" tall and 7" wide. Fitter opening is 2 1/4" OD. 4 Rare Goodrich Appleton 16" Porcelain Industrial Green Light Fixtures
I have 4 c. 1940- 50s original vintage american industrial green porcelain enameled cold-rolled steel light fixtures with socket. These lights were manufactured by Appleton Electric Company(Goodrich) They were removed from a former Naval Air Station located in Gardner. Kansas. They are in overall good condition. One has a series of chips in the porcelain around the neck of the fixture(see photo) They do come with the sockets. However, would need to be rewired. Note: the shades are 16" diameter.
