At the liquidation sale, a man purchased thousands of still-in-the-box lights and stored them in the massive attic of his business. Most are still there. You can imagine my excitement discovering this Aladdin’s cave of treasure! I HAVE MORE: If you need more just type the amount needed into QUANTITY(just above the Buy It Now button) The fixture has stamped copper fittings. And with an antique finish– like an old copper penny. The clear glass shade has some lovely irregularities. Like small bubbles. Note also the nice copper rim to the shade bottom– a protective device. The shade is open at the bottom to help ease with installing a bulb. The fixture is scaled for a small foyer or hall. But can also be used as a porch light. The fixture is. MID CENTURY MODERN swag ceiling fixtures pair 1950's
This Mid Century Modern SET of swag hanging lights are most dramatic and a must for this era décor. These are original fro the 1950's to early 1960's- one ceiling mount(needs a refreshing) that hangs from it the two swag lights. Plenty of chain and wire to stagger the arrangement. The iridized glass globes are 12" long and 5" wide- held in the fixture with three set screws. Each swag has 55" of chain- the fixtures appear to be nickel plated and are in excellent condition. Standard bulb sockets. total weight of these is 8 pounds- so hipping will be consideration- a large flat rate box might be best for long distances- will do my best to keep it down. globes will be removed and packed with care.

These are historic pieces that I uninstalled from the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan. I won the FOUR fixtures at the Roseland Ballroom auction. SEE PICS! THE DEAL OF THE DECADE! These four Jean Perzel(Paris) fixtures were mounted in the ceiling of Roseland's"Rose Bar" for over 60 years. Please see the photo of myself removing one of the fixtures from the bar as proof. Also there is a photo of the fixtures at the Rose Bar lit by red CFL bulbs(hence the red color all over the massive room)you can see the auction ticket taped to one of the fixtures. I have cleaned them up and they are gorgeous. If you EVER attended an event at Roseland and had a drink in the back at the Rose Bar. ... moreThen you were quaffing up libations under these very lights! I removed the ceiling mounts as well so you should be able to install them again no problem. The J. Prezel company is still in business in Paris and they are still making similar versions of this classic design! They are extremely heavy and large in size. The fixture mounts are stamped J Perzel. These fixtures have been verified as a 1950 model. REF 2024 by a J. Perzel employee at their showroom in Paris. Different versions made today by J. Perzel are for primarily outdoor use. So this configuration of a hanging fixture is quite unique for this incredible glass! The current versions based on this glass mold are over $1000 EACH. Check out the J Perzel website. There are supposedly over 1000 facets per fixture that help disperse the light in all directions, hence their effectiveness at lighting large areas with a single bulb. This classic design gives a nod to the art deco period and are totally INDUSTRIAL CHIC! I am only offering these fixtures as a set. The glass is over 9" in height( Add 1"2" for the mount) Base diameter about 10" The glass is over 1/2" thick! They must weigh between 12-14lbs

This pair of sconces/lights were removed from the home we remodeled in 2004 and were original to the home built in 1954. They worked when they were replaced in 04 with a more modern sconce and were used in the hallway and looked very cool. They're chrome and the glass(frosted) is molded to create a waved effect ~ secured and held positioned& secured by the front metal. Can be operated with a wall switch or individually turned on/off with switch. They easily disassemble for thorough cleaning which I've done. Except for the paint(see photos) on the metal frame edges. Previous owners weren't real careful in the painting process. Can be easily removed with a knife/scraper/etc, just didn't take the time to do so. WOW! Here is a great MATCHING set of 3 vintage Gas Station Lights made by Thomas Industries. Sparta, TN. They have great 12" porcelain shades and measure a total of 20" high inclduing mounting. They have a great vintage 1950's Deco look to them. And would look great re-installed and shining their bright lights down onto your driveway, walk-ways or inside your shop. I purchased these recently from an estate. And they are untested, but looking at their condition I can only assume that they work. They do have minor damage to the porcelain as you can see in the pics. But all in all I think they are really in nice condition. I have taken a picture of one of the bulbs that was still in them, they are not included by can be purchased at any hardware store. Bulbs don't pack and ship very well) They are fairly heavy. Pair of Mid-Century (1950's) Glass Shades / Covers / Globes for Ceiling Fixtures
You are bidding on a pair of matching mid-century glass ceiling light globes or shades. These two shades are from the 1950's and are in very good condition. The glass is white translucent and clear where the design is. Which would be around the circumference in the middle of the sides and also clear on the part that you would see if you were looking up at the fixture. There are no cracks or chips in either of the shades. Each has a spot where paint has rubbed off on the fitter edge. Please see the last two photos. In both cases that is paint loss on the fitter edge, not damage to the glass itself and would not show once the shades were fastened into the fixture. These shades are about 6.5" at the widest part.
