There is a larger round piece that has 4 hanging arm like lights, they are hanging from a heavy chain with a cloth cord inside. There are 4 rings on the other side and that's where the middle piece will fit. The middle piece will hang from 4 long chains, and one is missing. It looks to me, like the smaller piece will attach to the ceiling and the 4 chains will connect to the larger piece with the lights, wow, love it. I'm figuring this out as I'm describing. LOL! There are pieces that I know are missing, please see all pics for details. Some pictures are not so good, but the lighter pictures that was taken with the flash are the best ones. The larger round light measures 18-1/2" in diameter, and the arms/lights extend 10" The ceiling piece is 9" in diameter. Each light has it's own turn key light switch. Two Vintage Filigree Beaded Tassel Lamp Shades
Two old lamp shades with metal filigree frames and clear plastic lines fabric inserts. Clear beaded tassels hand from the inserts. Bottom measurement is 4 3/4 inches on each side. Top is 2 1/4 inches a side, and round opening on the top is 2 inch diameter. They are in used condition, showing age, with some missing tassels but no tears in the fabric. I don't know what the metal filigree is made of, though I would guess something nickel plated. The plating shows a little wear, mostly at the bottom edges. These are something I don't normally deal in, so I can't tell you much more, and I don't know the age(I would guess no newer than 1920s) Powered by The free listing tool. These fancy little repousse filigree light/candle shades are so pretty and romantic. I believe they are silver but I can find no markings so I can't find out much about them. What I do know is that they are absolutely beautiful and the workmanship is stunning. I just love the way the intricate filigree diffuses the light.it is soooo romantic! Each shade has it's original fringed oiled paper inserts. These are in wonderful antique condition with no gouges. Breaks or missing pieces. They have a wonderful patina- slightly aged and warm. I have not polished them as I love the patina the way they are but they could be polished to a high shine if desired. PAIR (2) OF GORGEOUS EARLY 1900's ANTIQUE 4 PANEL ALL METAL FILIGREE LAMP SHADES
Found at an estate sale in South Florida this past weekend is a pair of lovely antique metal lamp shades. I believe this is a mixture of different metals. But a magnet does not stick to it. It is painted a beige color and they are very ornate. There are little pineapples in between each of the panels of the shades. They had very old silk material lining the inside of the shades, which were totally falling apart, so I pulled one of the linings out so that you can see the ornate design. These shades would be used with lamps having a rod and harp over the bulb. I was told that they were from the early 1900's, possibly around 1910. Aside from the disintegrating material, they are in excellent shape, except that I noticed when I was taking the pictures that one of the small pineapples are missing. It's a beautiful& classy necklace with a n ice m etal J-Hook. Enabling you to hook it in the center leaving a some beads trailing down the back. It is a traditional string strung beaded necklace. It measures 19" around and it has 3 more inches if you need it to go up to 22" around with a pretty tiny beaded row leading to the J-hook which is marked'Japan' There are tiny translucent light pink clear beads strung in between each green bead.
