Here for consideration is a magnificent chandelier by Gaetano Sciolari produced I imagine by lightolier with heavy brass. Heavy chrome, hundreds of glass rods and a feel much larger than the measurements suggest. This is a chandelier that can only be seriously appreciated in-person and not via photos. Plenty of photos provided showing details to see how good this is. Please review them all. General Description: Gaetano Sciolari has designed many great pieces. And this one is one of the largest designed. This exact chandelier may be found on first dibs, and another seller on ebay also has one listed with frankly, more alluring photos than mine- I do not have a studio. I photographed it with only about 40% of the rods in place due to the weight that was bearing on the ceiling hook. Twelve 40 watt bulbs illuminate 204 glass rods that are 18" each suspended on 6 solid brass and chrome plates that alternate in height. The quality of the brass and chrome is second-to-none. This chandelier came from an institution in West Virginia with a 7 foot chain linking it to a ceiling plate. The chandelier was kept in a humidity and temperature controlled environment which means it has survived well. It measures approx. 21" high from the top of the hanger finial to the bottom of the lower row of glass rods and is 21" wide. Condition: Brass and chrome is almost near perfect with only mention of some scuffing and light scratches to very few areas- not worth the mention but for the sake of accuracy must be. The only area to show any real patina is on the central spoke holding the three arms to the 6 fixtures. The janitors took good care of this but in the process over time. 5 of the glass rods have been broken- as the fixture has internal rods and external rods we recommend either sourcing 5 rods, or simply omitting them from the interior rod arra

please view all 11 photos, this is an exquisite vintage antique Art Deco 3-light chandelier fixture.looks like what might have been hanging in your room on the Titanic.its very heavy and large.it has 2 separate glass globes.one globe which covers the 3 light bulbs at bottom and one that covers part of the center hardware it hangs on.the metal parts are aluminum with what looks like maybe remnants of gold.the st icker still on back reads. Underwriter Laboratories Inc Inspected Electric Fixture Issue 79753.there are also the remnants of another sticker that disintegrated when I was cleaning it.it was a square red black and green small sticker which I think had"UL" on it. the bottom glass globe is very thick and heavy.it is antique white frosted glass with pretty beveled panels and a small clear glass raised patterned lip and center. ... moreglobe measures 14.25" in diameter and 3.5" high, the smaller globe is clear and crown shaped with a tiny raised diamond pattern.it flares out from bottom to top into 12 small points.measures 5.5" high x 6" top diameter, there are some wires still showing.I do not know if this is in working condition but I would suggest replacing the wires for safety reasons due to its age this needs to be cleaned.I cleaned most of it.still dirty where the wires are and light bulbs attach there is no damage.there are flea bites on the inside rim of large globe.and a few on the outside.and some rough rim spots.it is missing the piece that holds the bottom globe onto the threaded center rod, overall height is approx 13.5" please keep in mind when viewing photos this is not actually hanging so you are seeing it at eye level/looking down on it. Especially a pair, so if you are looking or one you certainly do not want to miss out on these French ones! This is a pair of vintage wall electrical sconces with scrolls of macaroni beads, tear drop crystal prisms, and little pink drop prisms. The actual sconce is made out of gold colored metal with a nice scrolls design. Each one has 5 swag links of macaroni beads on the front and 3 of each side for a total of 11, 35 tear drop crystal prisms, and 10 little pink drop prisms. The pink drops might look orange in the pictures, but they are pink. They have 2 arms with newly wired electrical sockets and glass bobaches. They are both in great working condition as you can see from one of the pictures ... morethat all 4 lights are on. They use regular small light bulbs and hook up straight to your existing wall wires. They are both in great condition with no prisms or beads missing. Each one measures about 16" tall with the bottom prisms and about 10-3/4" wide a its highest points.
