Matching pair of elegant pendant lights from the early 20th century. Canopies. Sockets, and decorative brake in the chain are wrought brass. Chain is steel. Shades are white and cream with an acid etched finish. Each shade is decorated with a repeating palmetto and flowing foliage design. Each measures 32" long x 4 3/4" wide. Shades have 2 1/4" throats. It is all original and has a lovely warm aged patina. The design is very elegant and understated with five curving outswept branches carrying the electrical fittings. The central column is baluster in form and is finished with a finial at the base. It has a hanging chain and ceiling canopy and is in good working order with an earth connection. It measures 34 ins in height including the chain and canopy which are 22 ins long(this could be shortened if required) and is 19 ins in diameter. Beautiful large pair of early 20th century wrought iron lamps with brass trimmings. These lamps are in amazing condition for their age- they will just need to be rewired and the bulb sockets replaced and of course new glass will need to be installed. One of the lamps is missing one of the small metal grapes that hangs from the bottom. With a little effort these lamps will be ready to install on your lovely home. A"Lot" of Wall Sconces with Candle features. All vintage; and the smooth brass pair was made in India. One pair of Grecian Style metal sconces with gold colored and brass wax plate. This pair is perfect for any room in the house(living room. Library, hallway, bathroom) Has a great look and easy to hang. These are about 12 inches long and 6 inches in width from each candle holder. There is a small bend on the wax dish that is easily missed by turning it towards the back. That is the only flaw that I have noticed in the years that I have had them(about ten years. The second set is sleek with more of a smooth brass finish. This is the pair that was made in India. This very elegant antique four-bulb electric light chandelier has been tested. So I can say it works, switches and all. It looks like it's been recently re-wired, unfortunately with a contemporary type of cable. Starting at the top. It has no canopy or donduit rod, so it starts with a 6-link chain, which attaches to a final screwed into the multi-part body, with the bulb holders cantilevered and hanging off to the sides. To give you an idea of dimensions, the"pan" is about 10½" in diameter; and the decorative brackets that hold the bulb holders are about 5¼" long. I've run a magnet over it all. And the only thing that have a pull are the chain links. It has some surface scuffs and scratches, and maybe a few small dents, and there are some cracks in the bulb hoods, as well as two missing shade screws. ... moreWe aren't including any bulbs with it because they don't travel well.
