For your consideration. Wonderfully detailed vintage wall sconce with two electric candles. The back plate is 10" tall. The width of the sconce is 9.50" the candles are 6.50" on center. The shades are 3.50" tall. There is a twist on/off switch. The shades have an"old glass" feel. There is a rim chip and resulting crack on one shade which can be turned to the back to hide it. They measure approximately 13" long from top to bottom, 9" wides with a 5" projection from the wall. They came from the ladies's room of the Paramount Theater in Nashville, Tennessee. Four matching antique double arm sconces. Made and signed by Lincoln Co. in the 1920’s. These Neoclassical sconces feature an urn at the top, draped with garlands that come down to the backplate. The backplate is ornamented with flowers and scroll detail. The two arms, also draped with garlands, extend from the bottom of the sconce to support gadrooned bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with working switches; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Vintage brass five double arm ten light Spanish chandelier ceiling light fixture
For sale is an absolutely beautiful vintage brass Spanish style chandelier. The actual chandelier measures about 24 inches across and about 20 inches down. This part is connected to a decorative Spanish chain that is about 16 inches long and of course is connected to the matching brass canopy. This gives the total length for the chandelier hanging down from the ceiling to be about 38 inches. You could make it shorter or longer by adding or eliminating some of the links in the chain. The chandelier has five arms that have double bulb holders giving the total number of bulb holders to be ten(gives off a lot of light) The bulb holders take smaller chandelier bulbs and are covered with decorative candle covers. Some of the candle covers do show some wear around the top and one of the candle covers has been replaced(It is a little whiter in color ... morebut not very noticeable) Both things are very minor and as you can see from the pictures does not deter from the beauty or function of chandelier. The chandelier has the original cloth covered wiring and is in working order. The chandelier is a solid decorative brass with a great antique patina. The chandelier has 71 three inch tear drop prisms(size includes hexagon part) 5 ten inch crystal strands, and one larger cut crystal hanging down the center that measures about 2 1/2 inches by 2 inches(without crystal balls) This is a very beautiful light fixture that would bring instant charm and sophistication to whatever room you place it in. This fixture includes a ceiling mount canopy for hardwire installation. The top circle of ornate scrolls have had 2 repairs which have been brazed. Double arm Antique BRASS WALL SCONCE RUFFLED GLASS SHADES Early 1900's Art Deco This is for an antique solid brass wall light fixtures in good condition. The leaf decoration is cast brass. The rest of the canopy is pressed brass and has a couple of small dings in the smooth part. There is no nut and threaded tubing for the center of the fixture. The clear& frosted glass shades have a lovely ruffled edge and pleat design. The pleats are frosted on one side and clear on the other side. It gives the appearance of a very light frosting. No chips or cracks and they have a lovely bell tone when flipped with your finger. The gracefully curved arms have an engraved design on them. There are 2 matching sconces listed also that look like they were used with this one or in the next room. The glass is similar but does not match the glass on this ... more1 exactly. The other sconces that are listed have clear glass that is slightly smaller. This is a striking pair of antique two-arm Tudor sconces. Dating from the early 1900's and found in a home in Springfield, IL. Each sconce's circular backplate is crowned with a fleur-de-lis and features a faux-riveted diamond at its center; small volutes surround its perimeter. Fastened at the bottom of the backplate are two scrolling arms; each arm supports a simple wax pan with wavy edges. Antique Art Nouveau Double Arm Wall Sconce. Needs wiring. Length at longest area that goes against wall is 12 ½ inches. At widest part of socket holders it measures around 8 ½ inches. And comes out from wall at widest part of socket holder, approximately 5 inches. It weighs about 2 pounds 11 ounces. There is some wall paint residue on edge as it was obviously painted around at one time in it's history. Sconce needs to be rewired. There are NO wires, sockets or a switch. Some parts are slightly loose and will need tightening after rewiring. There are no electrical parts. I can find no manufacturer’s Mark, only a partial Union Label on back.Please see pictures and note condition. I have made no attempt to clean or otherwise alter it's appearance. Beautiful Double Arm Solid Brass Wall Light Sconce w/shades-Ornate-Reversible
This light is not brass plated. It's high quality solid brass made. Of course the arms have to have a hole in the for the wire to feed thru but there's nothing cheap about this beautiful ornate brass light. I don't see a makers name on it but that's not unusual for any light of any age. It's versital because it can be mounted up or down depending on your needs. It doesn't have the cross plated behind it for mounting but you can find those at any home improvement store such as lowes, most of the time, there's already one there if your taking one down to put this one up. (2) Pair of Antique Double Arm Solid Brass Wall Light Sconces-Rewired-w/sockets
I used to polish all my brass lights until I learned. Not all buyers like the high polished look. Some like them just like you see these. If I polish them, I loose a little of the market of buyers because they like the patina left on the light. If you prefer yours polished, these would look amazing and it wouldn't be hard at all with just a little time and some brasso. I found these in the rafters of an out building at an estate sale. They wasn't in terrible condition but the sockets were pretty much toast. The lights used to have the type socket with a roll switch on each socket. One of the pics shows where the flange just below the bulb has the place cut out for such a socket. If you want, you could put this type socket back in it. The opening can be turned to the back so it can't be seen. I just think it limits as to where ... morethe lights could be used if the switch was on the socket. You could just turn it on before mounting them and the switch would then work them but most of the time these will be used where you can't reach the light to use that type switch. Anyway, it has brand new sockets and wire in it, so they are ready to use if this application fits your needs. These are solid brass and not plated. Judging by the sockets that was in them and the wiring, I'd say 30's or 40's but I don't think they are any newer than that. Beautiful matching set and well made. You should know their size by the pics I took with a tape measure. The shades are pretty common and you can still find many different ones to go with these. These are also versital because you can turn them up or down. Each shade holder only has 2 out of 3 of the screws that holds the shades in the light. Plenty enough if they are turned up, if you mount them turned down, you will probably need to make sure you have all 3 screws in the holder or the shade will fall out.
