Absolutely gorgeous blown-glass vintage SHADE/ GLOBE for hanging lamp with beautiful graduated cushion pattern! I have searched. And cannot find any shade like this one. Unique. Rare strawberry shape. Great San Francisco find! And taking in consideration where it was found and the shape of the shade. the famous Beatles Strawberry Fields Forever comes to mind. It does not get any more vintage than that! There are no chips. Some slight sings of wear on the glass as expected with an older piece. I only wiped down with damp cloth and inserted a small light to show case pattern in the pics. I'd rather leave detail cleaning up to the buyer to decide. The wire is a cool swirl shape, and has some aged patina that still has some black paint showing. The shade is about 11" Tall x 10' at the widest point of the shade. The small lamp measures approximately 4 3/4 inches tall with existing bulb, and has a 1 3/4 inch x 1 3/4 inch wooden base. I believe that the base should be made from Walnut wood, but this base is painted brown, and perhaps not the original finish. The on-off switch is a"push through" style, and seems to work properly. The original paper label is still attached to the bottom with the lamp name"LoLite" and the California P.O. box address of the design studio, and a copyright date of 1966. If your not familiar with these controls it has a learning curve. Comes complete with the installation book and the operators manual. It has 16 relays that can be programmed individually for set times. It has a 6 button Cat5e manual override that can turn everything"ALL ON" or"ALL OFF" as well as seperate buttons that can control"Group Loads" I have set up these boxes to control all the interior lights. Outside lights Etc.the list goes on and on. This box can control your entire building. I would be willing to program this box if you knew your"Control Scheme" It has a built in modem so the LC&D company can dial in and make any changes to the schedule ... morewithout a site visit. It has been fully tested and is ready. It has a battery built inside to keep the"program" in case of power failure. The control voltage of this unit can be 120 volts or 277 volts. The relays are rated@ 20amps per relay and I have some 30 amp relays I will swap if you need any. Most loads are set up for the 20 amp relays. If you compare the other two Blue Boxes I will tell you this.One or both does not have the modem. YOU DONT have to use the modem but during troubleshooting its nice to connect into a phone line and have the LC@D Techs look at the system. My entire house is controlled by this same box! Outside lighting, Septic tank pump, Pool etc. I also believe the relays can be obtained either normally open or closed in case you want lighting to"Fail On" If your not very good with electrical knowledge you may want to stay away from this. This is a vintage industrial explosion proof hazard light made by Killark. It is an essential piece of industrial themed hardware for your bar or man cave. The worst knuckleheads you know cannot break this light. The red glass is blast proof as is the fixture housing. This piece has been rewired and mounted on 1/2" black steel pipe and flange for afixing to the wall as a sconce. This piece reveals 15" from the wall and measures 12" from top to bottom. Vintage Moe Lighting Glass Ceiling Lights x4 Fixtures 5 Bulb Each 1940's Design
For your consideration four(4) late 1940's early 1950's nickel and glass ceiling light fixtures. Manufactured by Moe Lighting Co. between 1948& 1953. Made of nickel steel with a 5-bulb porcelain socket and a case-glass bull's eye style shade. A great mid-century looking ceiling lamp with a lot of wattage capacity. About 18" in diameter and will project from the ceiling about 7 inches including the polished steel finial. The heavy gage ceiling canopy is made of nickel steel with a detailed edge and has two holes for mounting to a box. Each fixture weighs a touch over 5 pounds. The condition of all four is excellent.
