It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. This could easily be cleaned off but we did not want to ruin any of the original gold paint so we will leave it up to you. Never Any Reserve! All questions will be answered promptly! I see no rust though I could have missed some surface rust its possible like where it was not painted on back.Ready to hang. Most have new wiring. Vintage Art Deco Mission 6 Shade Chandelier by Lincoln
Vintage Art Deco Mission Lincoln 6 Light Slipper Chandelier Up for sale is a beautiful. Vintage, Art Deco/Mission chandelier by Lincoln that was removed from a theater some time ago(what stories it could tell! It has 5 original glass slipper shades plus a way cool original sixth that lights up on the bottom. The frosted shades have a stylized thematic floral design cast into the glass, while the metal frame has a hammered look to it with a stylized urn design, which continues into the ceiling bell. When lit, the fixture casts a warm amber glow(see photos) The finish is a copper paint that has been treated with a verdis-green patina finish. Overall dimensions are as follows: approximately 25” high while hanging; 14” wide across the shades. All lights work and the fixture was rewired at some point. Although a side turn switch that is present ... morewas not re-connected at that time(this does not affect it from coming on) The bottom shade does have some minor chipping on the edges from years of being taken out to replace the bulb, but once it is fitted into the fixture, these do not show. All the shades are in excellent shape without nicks, or cracks. Hanging this chandelier is a breeze. Install a ceiling fan pan-shaped junction box with a hook. The fixture chain connects to the hook within the pan box. The fixture bell then is raised to the ceiling to cover the pan-shaped box and held in place with a screw that is in the bell. Please examine the photos closely. I am not offering a refund and am happy to answer questions before you bid. It has six beautiful shades in frosted pink glass with gilt banding and decoration. Five shades are mounted on curving branches with a further shade at the base. The arms extend from an imposing turned wooden central column and have a copper finish. It is original and in good condition with some expected signs of wear to the finish. The shades have no cracks or chips and the chandelier is in good working order although the wiring is vintage and so it is always prudent to check before use. Antique 1920s 6 sided Street Light , Art Deco twisted iron w/ stain glass OLD
OLD 1920s wrought iron 6 sided yard street light head with stained glass panels and door. This was purchased several years back from a place that I remembered as a Used Car Delaer when I was a kid. I remember these surrounding the perimeter of the lot and the big twinkling"Used Cars" sign in front. What a beautiful picture in my memory. I didnt hesitate years ago when I had a chance to save them from destruction when the old lot was being renovated. I didnt use all for myself and am offering this one. The light has several layers of paint on it plus some rust inside. A person could easily remove the 6 glass panels as they are in there with just metal tabs(as modern day picture frames are) This has been rewired for safety with a new lamp switch and wiring If a person wanted to sandblast the fixture and restore. It would take just ... morea few mintes to remove the 6 panels and losen the one screw that holds the lamp and remove pulling out the new wiring. I wanted to leave it so you can see its an OLD unique piece and not some modern day reproduction. The red glass socket and wiring are the only"new" pieces on this beautiful light. LARGE SPLENDID HARD TO FIND ART DECO 6 ART GLASS LIGHT CHANDELIER. This is an authentic large and impressive early to mid 20th century hanging 6 light chandelier. It boasts a very unique and rare design and finish of a tortoise shell like finish applied to the main center column and support arms. The designer then applied specially formed chrome decorative square tubing to compliment and highlight the tortoise shell main column and support arms. To literally top this unique lamp design off he constructed a large round sphere of the same chrome tubing to add a high quality touch to this gorgeous chandelier and take it completely over the top. The colorful art glass shades are a combination of light to darker pink swirls on an opal background with a splash of light yellow giving each shade a marbled or marbleized look. In original vintage condition ... morewith some finish loss to main column and arm supports(see close up pics) The wiring is original and needs replacing. The original chrome finish has some loss and oxidation expected for its age(see pics) The art glass shades have minimal edge nicks with one shade having an old repair. This is an investment quality chandelier although not perfect is in very good condition for a lamp 70 plus years old. Cast Bronze 6 Light Brown Tip Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier
Rare cast bronze art deco 6 light slip shade fixture from the 1930's. Body was disassembled. Cleaned, reassembled, and rewired. Retains the original bottom shade and finial. Shades are in very good condition and look great when installed and illuminated. One shade has a chip on the exterior. See images 9 and 10. One shade has a darker brown tip than the other 4. See images 3 and 4. THis shade also has a chip on the bottom near the point. See image 5. Two shades sit slightly elevated in the V shaped pocket. It has always been like this. The body could probably be filed to allow it to fully seat, but it never bothered me while hanging in my house so I left it alone. Bottom shade does have chips as well. The worst one is shown in image 7. There is a second on the opposite side that is more like a flea bite. These are from a previous owner ... moreover tightening the two bottom set screws that retain the shade. Although a finial is pictured on this chandelier it is not included because a customer stole it from the chandelier while it was hanging in my shop. I have a ton more images of this fixture I can email to anyone interested. Fixture drops 40" from the ceiling and has a width of 21" Fixture was rewired with period appropriate white cloth covered wire. Both wires are white and one has a gold tracer. Vintage ART DECO CEILING LIGHT skyscraper 2-piece globe shade 6" fitter EXC COND
For your consideration is this incredible ART DECO CEILING LIGHT. It is all original and includes a two-piece shade consisting of a milk-glass"skyscraper" shade attached to a prismatic clear glass shade with a stainless-steel band that secures with a thumb screw(see photos) The shades and band are in excellent condition: no cracks. No visible chips. There is some light chipping around the rim that fits inside the 6" fitter, but those can't bee seen with the light assembled. The fitter is chromed steel and it has some tarnish on it, almost completely on the part immediately above the shade that is not visible from belw. Again, see the photos and judge for yourself. This is an awesome and classic art-deco fixture. Its original ceramic socket is in excellent condition- just hook it up to the wires in your ceiling junction ... morebox. The milk-glass shade measures about 12" in diameter at its widest point; the stainless-steel band where the two halves of the shade meet measures about 10" in diameter; from the tip of the clear glass to the top of the fitter the fixture measures about 18" long. The fixture is tested and guaranteed to work. The socket accepts regular-size. Medium-base light bulbs. The light has been rotated in the photos and shot from various angles to show all surfaces. The fixtures was completely disassembled prior to inspection and cleaning. For safe and economical shipping I will slightly disassemble the fixture. An easy reassembly on your end. Vintage Mid Century White EXIT Globe Art Deco Style Light 6 1/2" RED letters
Nice old ceiling fixture EXIT sign. It is about 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches on 2 widest sides. 3 1/2 on other two sides. Diameter across the lip(to fit into fixture) is 3 1/4 inches. I'd say it is mid-20th century, typical EXIT light from those days painted white with large red letters. The side that would be facing the door has no letters as it would not be seen anyway. The bottom side angles slightly outward to peak in the middle. I found in a box of several of these and they appear to be old unused stock. There is some slight discoloration of the white paint which I can see upon close examination but I think just from aging. There are no cracks, breaks or chips on this globe. Painted Floral Accents-Luminous Light-Works Perfectly! This beautiful light fixture dates from the 1930s and is in remarkably nice condition. Clean and ready to hang. It's all original.the paint, the metal, the shades, etc, and works perfectly. The body of the light is pale cream and antique metallic gold with pink, blue, yellow, and green air brush painted flowers. The shades are thick glass that's been painted cream with airbru shed peachy-carmel accents on the inside. Leaving a 1/4" thick layer of clear, slightly iridescent glass to the outside.so pretty. As pictured. It hangs 30" down from the ceiling and is 20" wide. There is an adjustable ... morepole on the top that can be lowered further out of the ceiling cap. There is a 3-way switch giving you the option to have all lights on, all off, just the center on, or just the outer 5 lights on. As stated. The condition is very nice. There are a few light scuffs in the paint upon close examination, but nothing significant or overly distracting, with the exception of the scuffs on the ceiling cap(see pics) There is also some finish loss to a few links of the chain. Two of the five batwing shades were broken and repaired. The repairs appear stable, an d they are certainly usable. The last three pictures show the two damaged shades: 2 pictures of each shade lit; and a 3rd pic showing- Left: break down center and side. Center: undamaged shade for comparison, Right: break down center. All of the shades can be replaced, but I thought I'd leave that decision up the the new owner. The arms in the cups it is marked Lion. In the 1920s there were a great number of lighting manufacturers. At the very high end. However, there were but a handful. One such company was Lightolier. Which produced gorgeous products, gorgeously made. There were only two other companies producing lighting at even higher levels: E. F. Caldwell, and Lion Electric. Caldwell was at the very very peak. Creating extraordinary lighting(and extraordinarily expensive) which graced, and still graces, the White House. While no manufacturer was in a league with Caldwell, Lion Electric was a notch above Lightolier— high praise, indeed.
