This is a pair of fine Sterling Silver candlesticks. They have thier original hand engraved and cut glass shades and they are in good overall condition if a little dusty. They are marked and tested to be true Sterling Silver and are sold as such, they are loaded bases that is the base will be filled with something that is not usually silver to ensure they are bottom heavy and do not become unstable. Because of this it is very difficult to guess how much sterling is in the pair? The total weight including the loading obviously is approx 640grams or about 20 oz although this is without the shades much will be loading and not all will be silver. Reduced Rare Art Nouveau Crafts Large Cut Glass Dome Chandelier 3 Frosted Shades
Hello. Welcome to our auction of this original Art nouveau brass chandelier with large central frosted& cut glass dome and 3 large pendant lantern lights suspended down from the centre piece. The ceiling rose measures 8.5" wide and 4" tall. The main frame is 17" across and 5 1/4" tall. it measures a total drop from the ceiling of 34" With each side pendant on a chain of 3 links and total length from the top if the frame of 16.5 inches. It will require a re-wire and small amount of attention to the metal links holding all the pieces. It still has the ceramic rise& fall fixture within the ceiling rose. Which now has a metal hook. Each of the pendants has the old white ceramic edged screw fittings(normal width) There is a suspended arm adjoined to the frame which holds a bulb to the centre if the dome. For the ... morepurposes of the photos I have suspended the light over a single energy bulb.not the brightest. But I think this gives a basic idea of how it could look. The glass is in near perfect condition with only a couple of light edge marks where the small screws have held it in place. The dome and other 2 lanterns are unmarked. One of the small screws is damaged, but the shade is firmly in place with only 2. Good patina and age on the metal work, could be slightly polished so the floral motifs are highlighted. Antique Lead Cut glass Chandelier/Lamp Crystals 66 spears 4 shades
Antique glass shades with mounting rings and original spears. There are 17 mounting holes in each ring/shade for a total of 68 mounting holes. There are 66 spears, all of which has their cut squares above each, or present at least but two spears are missing to make it complete. Some have minor chips but there are only a few. The spears measure 3 1/2 inches to 4 inches long, they all vary a little and 3/4 inches wide. The top squares measure 3/4 by 3/4 inches. The shades measure 5 1/4 at the widest point of the base and 2 1/8 at the top of the shade. All of the pieces are hand cut and vary because of this. Beautiful pair of Cut Glass Crystal Table Lamps The top and bottom is a heavy crystal with Floral Flowers outlined in a frosted strip. I have felt all over both pieces and can't feel any chips or repairs. There is sharpness from the cuts on the edges but not chips. The only chips I can find are on the inner hole where the shades sit on the screw top which is covered by the washers when the shade is screwed on. Please excuse any camera flashes. It is not damage. They Measure 16" tall with brass top. Base of lamp measures 5 1/4" The bottom part of the shades are 8" wide. Uses chandelier bulb. Good working condition. I also love the distinctive shape of each shade; they have an unusual squat quality I find appealing. Under each shade are ten colonial-style drops. The center stem has ten additional drops. Soooo beautiful. The metal components are brass. And this retains its original protective lacquer. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. COLOR: Brass. Glass. SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 36-inches and is 19-inches wide. I can remove up to 18-inches of chain; I can add chain. CONDITION: The only issue is minor. Several of the brass shade fitters have very thin cracks. There are also tiny stress cracks to the small rolled edge of the ceiling mount. The shades are undamaged. Remarkable. The sockets are original(and in fine shape) with new wiring. I suspect that the chain is a replacement. Where air has gotten under the lacquer finish. The brass has developed a patina. The end pieces or finials I think are brass, not positive though. They are not magnetic. The washers and nuts holding them to the shades have rust on them. This is not noticeable when hanging. I am the original owner of these very attractive crystal ceiling fan light shades. The shades were purchased as part of a light kit for a Casablanca fan. The condition of each shade is excellent. There are no cracks or chips. See my photos to verify the condition of each shade. The diameter of the top opening is 1 5/8” and 2 1/4” outside. The length of each shade is 5” and the large opening measures 3 1/2” Each shade has 3 frosted flower designs and 3 sets of clear ribs. Pair of Antique Cut Glass Ceiling Light Shades chandeliers and box full drops
We have a pair of glass ceiling light shades/ chandeliers which have been taken out of a victorian residence when clearing a loft. They are made of very heavy cut glass with a large facetted crystal ball at the base of each. they hang from brass chains and have wired loops around the edge for the droppers to be hung from. I am not creative enough to be able to fit the droppers on as they should be but I have counted them and there are 130 droppers with the odd flea bite in one or two and half a dozen very damaged ones which I didnt photograph but will chuck in. These lights look very F&C Osler in style but are unsigned so cannot be proven to be their work. The shades measure 26cm across by 20cm high approx any questions please just ask. This item is heavy hence the postage.

Important Pair ABP Cut Glass Lamps In Hunt's Royal Pattern, Signed Shades
This auction is for a rare and exquisitely cut pair of cut glass lamps made by Hunt in their outstanding Royal Pattern. It is considered by most collectors to be the most desirable pattern made by the company. The lamps are 18" tall to the top of their faceted shades. The bases are 11 5/8" tall and 6 1/2" in diameter across the bottoms. The shades are 7" tall. 8" in diameter at the widest point and 5 3/4" in diameter across the bottoms. Both lamps are in excellent condition. I do not see any chips. Cracks, repairs, etc. on the base and shade of either lamp. I'm sure there is a microscopic fleabite somewhere but I haven't found it. Each lamp has 30 prisms and a few of them are chipped at the bottom or might have a rough edge here and there. Both of the shades are signed along the bottom edge. One is signed ... moremore clearly while the other is more difficult to read. I guarantee that both signatures are there. The bases are not signed but definitely are the correct and original to the shades. One arm which supports the shade on one lamp came loose and has been stabilized. This is mentioned for the record only as I do not consider it a problem. Finding signed cut glass lamps from the early 20th century that are not floral is not an easy task. Finding a signed pair in one of the premiere patterns is that much more difficult. I send out eBay invoices specifying shipping and handling costs within 24 hours of an auction ending. This is a gorgeous pair of candle wall sconces. Each sconce consists of two elaborate removable cast brass arms that fit into a cast mount on a finely carved wood shell back. Each arm holds an early blown seeded glass hurricane shade that is beautifully cut with tiny stars and a patterned band. Measurements: The glass socket is encased in a brass mount that measures 1 1/2" wide. The carved shell back measures 8 1/2" wide by 8 3/4" high by 4 1/4" deep. Each shell weighs 3 pounds 7 ounces. No chips or cracks. 12" Tall total with chimney. The base is 3-1/2" tall to the collar and the shades are 6" diameter. The glass is thick and heavy and the hand painted decoration and gold details are intact. The burners have been converted to electric but the glass is not altered or damaged. Someone in the past added electric cords to the"Kosmos Brenner" burners. But if you want them to be oil lamps again, just get new burners.
