Up for sale is an Art Deco Custard Glass Light Globe that was removed from my grandmothers(c.1910) house in Union Missouri in the 1970's. They don't make them like this anymore. It is a gorgeous piece of custard glass that delivers a warm glow and would look stunning again as a hallway ceiling or foyer light again. Excellent condition. As is. This could be called yellow milk glass or custard glass and I really don't know the era. I do know they are pretty cool. From the base. Where it would be at the ceiling, to the tip of the fixture is approx. 10 1/2" As you can see from the photo's there is a hole in the metal base that may suggest a pull chain was used on these at one time. The glass is in excellent condition. Around the edge of the opening where it sits in the metal looks rough, see the photo's, and it is rough but not chipped. There is a place for a screw or nail at the top of the wall mount. It is in very good condition. There are a few stress cracks in the mount as seen in photos from age and use. Not sure what the metal is I think it is a mix. There is an"F" on the on/off knob. The cord is cloth. Fantastic decorative estate lighting! A nice set of very old art deco/ arts& crafts chandelier lamp shades. Cream/ custard glass. yellowish- off white) Set of 7. Dimensions are Neck opening diameter 1 1/2" Top Opening diameter 3 3/4" Overall diameter 5 1/2" Height 3" These look great lit. A nice soft light. Weight is about 1/2 lb each. Required packing will make this a relatively heavy package of about 6 lbs. Although the glass is thick it is delicate. Top opening is a fairly rough cut( see photos) and appear to be a mold blown glass. The neck opening is polished quite smooth.

Vintage Antique Custard Glass 1920's Gothic Ceiling Light Fixture Moorish
For your consideration is this beautiful Gothic or Moorish Design Custard Glass shade ceiling light fixture. It has great gothic lines and appears to be hand painted in the panes to look like stained glass or marble. Stunning when lit. The painting is original to the shade, I soaked it for a lnog time to get some paint splatter off the shade and the paint never softened, so it must be fired on. The shade is hanging from it's brass fitter that is 5 3/4" across at the ceiling mount. The light measures 16 1/2" long by 6" wide. It has a pull chain switch that looks like it has been added. There is a small hole on the opposite side that looks like it was the original hole for the pull chain. The shade is in wonderful condition, no chips or cracks, maybe a few tiny spots of paint that I missed when cleaning. The fixture has it's ... moregreat old natural aged patina and does have a split at the top and a tiny one above the pull chain, in the rim. It does however, hang securely and is holding well and should not split any further. This light has been rewired recently and is working well, including the pull chain. Art Deco Handel Lamp Era PARROt Custard Glass SHADE GLOBE Ceiling LIGHT FIXTURE
Really terrific antique pendant ceiling light fixture. Circa 1920's-30's. Light fixture is solid brass with stamped design around top of ceiling mount canopy and also on the brass socket bell where it holds the shade in place. The link chain is metal. Total fixture measures 17" length including the shade. Shade is in excellent antique condition. No cracks. Couple minor flea bite chip along the bottom opening. Paint on glass shade is outstanding. Virtually no paintloss to either parrot scene or ton any of the 4 rings that surround the shade. Shade is beehive in shape. Shade itself measures approx 5.25" x 7.5" Has been rewired for safe usage.
