I’m very pleased to offer this rare opportunity: A set of five circa-1920 silver-plated fixtures! This listing includes: ONE 4-arm chandelier! FOUR matching 1-arm wall sconces. Pan-style fixtures(so named because the main body is like a large pan) were incredibly popular through the 1910s. 1930s, and early 1930s. Most were modest in terms of design, quality, and pricing. Very occasionally however I come across a set like this. Wow. This set was not modest in design or quality. And in its day would have been at the higher end price-wise. It’s stunning. The fixtures came out of a house in Illinois. And were caked with white paint when I acquired them. Luckily, paint doesn’t stick very well to silver-plating. The 4-arm chandelier is particularly luscious. The arms have gorgeous detailing in high relief. The bottom finial is surrounded by a lovely disk. The chain flourish is also exquisitely detailed. As is the ceiling canopy. You can see how different the fixtures look with shades(not included) or without. The vertical wire on the chandelier is cloth covered like the original. While originally intended for a living-dining room. Today I can envision the set in your newly renovated kitchen, or spa bathroom! The set would be the ideal complement to nickel-plated hardware. Vtg 50s Signed Matte Gold Swag Crystal Prism 3 Way Hanging Electric Chandelier
Vintage 1950s Swag Ceiling Hanging Glass Prism Gold Finish Electrical Lamp Chandelier signed by designer. I cannot make out the signature on this lamp but I took pictures of it for you to figure out who might have made it. It is in almost excellent vintage condition with its only major flaw is that one of the glass/crystal prisms metal tie down is missing as seen in my pictures with arrow. This isn't noticeable though because when it is hanging the strand hangs down straight. Also. The chandelier is in its original condition I found it in at the estate sale and needs to be cleaned up more. I haven't the clue to what to clean it with and I'm going to leave that up to you but it really isn't all that dirty just a little dusty. This chandelier does work and is a 3 way system. You will have to get light bulbs for it because they ... moreare not included. I really don't feel safe shipping with bulbs. It is a really nice piece that has a great art deco look without being too frilly. As far as wiring goes I do know that the item works as seen in the pictures without any glitches but I have no idea if it is up to code with todays standards. Due to its age you might want to have it rewired to be on the safe side or just leave it like it is. I would use it like it is if it was mine and feel safe with it but not all people are a like. It measures: about 22 1/2 inches tall by 10 1/2 inches wide and 10 1/2 inches deep. It weighs almost 11 pounds unpacked. Please remember vintage items do not have warranties. Pair of Antique or Vintage Brass Wall Sconces Lights With Crystal Hanging Prisms
Here is a Pair of Antique or Vintage Brass Wall Sconces Lights With Crystal Hanging Prisms. Each one of these has two arms on them with white candlecovers. These will need to be rewired as I wouldn't want to trust the wiring that is in them. These have a nice patina on them. One of them has some paint around the base of it and some up on the arm also, which I am sure would come off with some scrubbing. These will need a good cleaning, all I did was knock the top layer of dust off. There is some very, very light corrosion in a few spots but this isn't bad at all. Antique 1920's Art Deco Glass Crystal & Brass 5 Arm Chandelier Hanging Light
Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. It's made of a metal that's been finished to look like dark brass or bronze. I've just put on new candlestick covers. The body of it is 21" across from the outside of an arm to the outside of an arm. It's 13" high and 33" from the top of the chain to the bottom of the light fixture. The'flowers' are 4 1/2" across and the ceiling plate is 5" in diameter. You'll need to get the bolts that go up into the electric box in your ceiling to attach the plate. But the decorative screws to cover those screws are still with the light. It's pretty! Antique Art Deco Cream Colored Crystal Or Glass Hanging Chandelier
This is a great looking Art Deco hanging chandelier. I believe the shade is crystal. It carries a longer tone when struck. The shaft and cup at the bottom look to be glass. But I am not sure. The shade is about 15" across and the chandelier is about 13" tall. I do not see a maker's mark but I also don't know where to look. There looks to be an internal crack in the cup underneath the shade but you can't feel it when you run your hand over it. Pictures do not do this one justice. It is just lovely. As you can see it will have to be wired into ceiling. It will have a 24" drop and it is 16" across. It isn't a real big one. The silver parts are thick and heavy(pix 10) All the prisms are there. Uses 6 bulbs. Currently has clear flame tip. There isn't much to say about this one. Two beautiful Vintage hanging chandeliers out of a bathroom in a estate with 6 light sockets with over 300 of crystal prisms on each chandelier with brass. Also comes with chain as they are ceiling chandeliers. Both in restorable good working condition. Great for any room in house. The chandeliers both measure 15 inches in lengh from top to bottom without chain and about 6 inches width. Chandliers will be packaged in box with plenty of popcorn padding but remember they are in restorable condition. I will try to include all of the crystals that I can find that go with them. These will need to have the crystals straightened out on before use. There is no rust and they were working and looked beautiful when taken down.
