I have never seen this tapered mast anywhere before. They came painted as seen in the last picture. They have been stripped and waxed with refurbished pull chain period fat boy sockets. The lanterns had several changes of glass. I hand cut the quality Kokomo slag glass for these so they all match. One has more of a copper color than the other, probably red brass. All the parts that show are brass. In the second from last picture next to the ball pull you might be able to see a small ding and tiny tear in the metal but is really not noticeable and part of the wear on these. They are not perfect and show minor dings and spots but all is redone and rewired and ready for ... moreanother 100 plus years of service. They hang down 23 1/4" to the bottom of the shade, with pull chains the drop is 28 inches. They are set up to easily adjust the length of the pull chain. These would work well on a long Bungalow porch or even as sconces if you want a drop like these have. Old Copper Bronze Lantern Fixture Base and Tassle Finial
I'm pleased to offer this old fixture base with tassel. It is six-sided with dart and egg border. Cast from a bronze with high copper content in several pieces held together with a central threaded shaft. This was probably the bottom of a lantern fixture. As there are two soldered spots where a pair of hinges were attached and a threaded hole opposite the hinge marks, no doubt for a keep screw. Very attractive piece that offer good potential for re-purposing. Or maybe you have an old lantern fixture that needs a base. Dimensions are as follows: total height of 9" Tassel height of 4" width of 6-1/4" across the sides and 7-1/4" across the corners. It weighs a hefty 5 lb. Condition is excellent. Antique Large Beveled Glass Copper Hanging Candle Lantern Chains Pulleys
This stunning lantern is an antique in beautiful condition. All glass is complete and intact. As is the copper leading and fittings, as well as the iron chain, pulleys and hanging piece at the top. It has only minor wear, not even as much as one would expect for something this old. It is lovely when lit. First picture shows it hanging from the ceiling. To light the candle, one pulls down on the candle cup(at the bottom of the lantern) and the chains and pulleys inside allow that to lower while the glass is raised. Light your candle, raise the cup and allow the glass to seat on it again and enjoy the glow. It is really lovely. About 39" tall from the hanging loop at the top to the tip of the copper candle cup at the bottom; the lantern alone is about 28" tall. About 11" in diameter. The candle cup holds a candle about 1 1/4" ... morein diameter. This will be packaged well. Double-boxed, with nothing rattling around, so shipping cost reflects that.

Up for auction is this large vintage/antique Arts& Crafts Mission Style Copper and Glass electric outdoor lantern fixture being offered"as is as found" it is in wonderful condition exhibiting a superb age-acquired verdigris patina to the copper. The large glass globe is free of any chips. Cracks and dings, marked on the front in script Artolier Corp in raised lettering. We were told when we purchased this on the Eastern End of Long Island's North Fork that it had survived the Hurricane of'38. There are a few dents and the edges are bent a little but it still displays beautifully. There is no wiring left. Could easily be rewired or used"as is" with a candle for cozy outdoor dining and entertaining. Sits perfectly flat, could be mounted to a pole in the ground and there is a nice large open ring finial at the ... moretop to possibly hang it with, many possibilities here. The 2 supports on the sides, in the middle, each have holes that go right through, there must be some type of hardware missing to connect them; when we purchased it, there was wire that had been used. This magnificent example of vintage copper outdoor lighting measures in at approximately 22.5" tall and 10.5" wide at top cross bar and 6.5" at bottom cross bar. The post hole shaft is approximately 3.25" wide along with the elegant laced sconce holder. The crude and rustic construction of copper sheet soldered together is typical turn of the century style. I would date this piece pre 1920's. I was told this came from a historic area in Pittsburgh. Pa. Oakland is known for it's Victorian architecture and boasted an abundant display of these types of lighting fixtures throughout the late 19th and early 20th century. Be it as it may, this piece is what it is and may be used as a lamp ... morepost fixture, or converted into many different pieces from hanging to floor lamps. It is missing the frosted Chimney and Reflector. The Original Wiring Still Present. Spread 8 1/4"Drop 12 1/2" One 60 Watt lamp. It shows little specks of white paint in places from someone painting while it was connected would be my guess. It's in beautiful condition. Early 1900s Copper Lamp Lantern Light Porch Or Make Do Some Hand Made LOOK
Early 1900s electric porch lamp. Almost all solid copper. Not plated! I replaced the bulb socket, it works. Original for wall mount, could be used to hang, or mount on stand in your home. Main housing is hand made and folded soldered corners. Some copper rivets look hand hammered. I looks like from solder marks, had cross ribs at some time, now all gone. 21 inches tall, 6-1/2 inches wide, about 5-1/2 inches deep. I recently replaced my porch light glass with stained glass from Hobby Lobby. I cut myself, not expensive to have done or glass is not either, very pretty color. This lamp would be awesome with colored panels. Would not take special glass or cutting.

Nice Vintage Copper Lantern. It has brown& white panel glass around the sides. They alternate and one of the panels is missing but maybe by design. It maybe a way to light a candle inside? Needs a little patch work but it is a very nice piece. It meaures abount 10" tall and the base measures 5 1/4" I have trid to date this piece but have had no luck. I found this at my grandmothers house and no telling how old it is.
