Which are both in working condition. The shade is frosted and has some blemishes(scrapes, discoloration etc. due to age. The chrome has some pitting and discoloration spots. It shows it's age, as this is a vintage fixture. In order to change the bulb. You have to pull on both of the side arms to release the shade(similar to the function of a toilet paper holder) I don't think the switch is original to the fixture. But I think the original looked similar to this, although it may have been a push button. This is a toggle switch. Perfect light to go over a bathroom vanity or it could be hung directly on the ceiling. Try it sideways as a sconce! Many wonderful purposes for this cool retro lights. I deal a lot in light fixtures and this one is fairly unique and uncommon. It came out of an old craftsman style house in Carytown in Richmond. VA. Please ask any and all questions!
