I believe this is an early French fixture which was completely restored in the 1980s. Solid bronze, very heavy. Overall good condition. One drop shade is cracked and repaired. Another shade with several small chips. Oxidation to the gilt surface. Especially around the drop bulb sockets. All wiring is good. The wiring(not by me) is modern, as are the on/off switches(I can replace the white switches with brass ones) The sconces are of high quality. Heavy, and largely made from brass. The center sections feature gorgeous wood veneer panels. The main bodies are mounted to wooden back-plates. I cannot know if these are original, or later additions(so that the sconces can cover modern electrical boxes) The back-plates have a center section in a vellum color; I’m uncertain as to the material, it might be vellum. On the back is some writing in pencil but I cannot read this. Alas. Under each socket housing(quite distinctive in shape) is a glass disk with cut edges. There’s also a glass sphere in the center. Top, of each sconce. I love the curvaceous shape of the arms. The sconces accept silk shades(not included) but also look well without shades(see last image) Impressively scaled. 19th Century French Empire Guilded Bronze Sconces
Pair of guilded bronze sconces. French made in the empire style around 1840-1860. See picture of back of sconce. Noting that these were cast from a mold. 15 inches from top of sconce to bottom. Weigh several pounds each. I purchased these over 12 years ago at the Paris Antique Mart in Saint-Quen. Condition of each is excellent. With minimal wear to guilding, no major scratches and no dents. These quality sconces of this style and condition usually sell in antique stores for over $2.000 a pair.

This is a quality fixture of brass plated, tole construction. It is a 6 arm and 7 light chandelier as their is a bottom down light feature. The fixture has long, candlestick arms which attach to long, rod extensions from the chandelier body. They have tall candle sleeves which are also brass. Each arm has a tole, metal shade. The shades attach with screws so they are fixed to the chandelier. The shades are a very dark green with white interiors. We are pleased to offer this very nice. Ornate and quite unique Mid Century(1960s) French or Italian tole pendant lamp/chandelier. This 6 paneled, 3 light fixture features an ornate tole frame. The tole has a hammered pattern and extends around the bottom of the frame and in the borders of each panel. Each panel features a large wire fleur de lis which is topped with a tole acanthus leaf. There is also a tole flower in the center of each fleur de lis. The finial is gilted tole acanthus leaves that curl upward on each end. The stained glass panels are textured and alternate with 2 blue panels, 2 gold panels and 2 purple panels. The glass graduates in width and is wider at the bottom sections. The 3 light section of the pendant is gilded with nice bobeches and curved arms in candlestick design. There is also a bottom finial. This beautiful ... morefixture is in EXCELLENT condition with very little wear or evidence of age. The glass is free of chips. Cracks, etc. The wiring is in very good vintage condition and the fixture is working. There are several feet of the original chain. This is a beautiful pendant lamp/chandelier! This lovely. Mid Century fixture features a gold leaf/gilded iron, elongated, hexagon frame. The frame is accented with twisted iron and adorned with large Fleur de Lis. It has a scrolled lower section. The top section has a multi-frond finial. The 6 glass panels are frosted and slightly textured on the interior side. The lamp utilizes one, standard size bulb. There is a pull chain, on/off switch inside the lamp. The lamp could easily be hardwired directly into the ceiling if you so choose. This is very nicely made, higher end, fixture with exceptional details. There are no manufacturer's marks or stickers. It is in very good condition with some wear to the gold leaf finish which can be resolved. A couple of the glass pieces have some minor chipped edges which are not visible when the panels ... moreare inside the frame. The wiring is vintage but in good, working condition. We are pleased to offer this lovely. Mid Century, vintage tole pendant lamp chandelier. The lamp features French Country style with an antique, hanging oil lamp design. The tole is green and there is a black mottled/splatter finish over the green. The shade also has an attached top diffuse to soften the light. The lamp has two sockets, each operating with one standard bulb and each with a pull chain switch. There is a faux lamp key for accent. There is a circular finial located on both the upper and lower section of the lamp. The lamp is in good condition with just a couple of areas of chipped paint on the black rim of the shade. These are not distracting and very easily resolved. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition and the lamp is in good working order. Vintage Mid Century Empire French Chandelier 4 Arm Lights Red Tole Shades Brass
A vintage 4 light brass chandelier with red tole shades. This chandelier is 26 1/2" across the arms and 13 1/4" tall. The shades are 4 1/4" tall. 2 3/4" wide across the top, and 4 1/4" wide across the bottom. The chandelier has a patina of age on the brass. The white plastic covers for the light have chips along the tops. They could be trimmed down or replaced; one of them has a crack in it. The shades have light patina of age upon them. They have some wear to the white paint on the interiors. They also have a couple spots of wear to the red tole, see photos.
