Turn of the Century Antique Hanging Porch Light Art Noveau A & C Iron Copper
For your consideration is this stunning turn of the century Art Noveau hanging porch light. This fabulous light has Art Nouveau detailing and is made of heavy iron with a copper roof and canopy. The beautiful glass is original to the light and is gorgreous when lit or not. The total length of the light is 36" The chain and canopy measure 19" and the light is 17" tall including iron hoop on top and it is 11" across. The chain is handmade iron chain each link is over 4" long. It has been rewired, so it is ready to hang and enjoy. It has a new porcelain socket that takes a standard Edison base light bulb. One corner of the roof has a small split as shown in photo# 7, and there are some bumps and dents in the roof. There are a few drips of paint on top as shown and on two sides at the bottom, the iron rails are pulled ... moreaway a bit, but feel very secure. For auction is a very cool old copper wall sconce/candle holder. It’s basically a copper disk onto which has been soldered an undulating arm at the end of which is a candle holder. You simply hang it on a nail on the wall. Very practical! The wall mount is 7 inches in diameter. The candleholder projects out about 4.5 inches. This is a wonderful vintage mid century porch light fixture in good condition with some light wear. Its copper and the glass inside is good with no cracks. No breaks and the fixture has no cracks. I have not tested it since it was from an estate sale. The note on the back that the owner put ont he back says"original porch light 1940s. Great decorative style. HUGE 18" 19th Century Copper Hanging Chandelier Hood Canopy Grapevine Victorian
For sale is a late 19th century hanging light. I'm not positive but I believe it originally hung upside down by three chains and may have had a globe. Currently it's in need of some repair but the potential for a beautiful centerpiece is there. It features very ornate grapevine accents around the edge and an acorn finial. It have some tarnish tarnish and scuffs all around and looks to have been stored for a long time. Several small dents can be found but nothing that is very noticeable. The original wiring and sockets are present but need replaced or repaired. Measurements are- 18"Diameter and 9" Tall. The chain connecting post are spaced approximately 12" apart. Being sold as is. Hanging frame is metal but does have a brass or copper finish look, no damage on the frame solid, does have some darkening finish spots as you would expect with age, cord is good and long as well as the chain, the chimney is good with no damage as well as the early satin glass shade, with hand painted floral design, nice hanging chandelier light in great working condition, the shade measures 11 1/2" wide by 7" high the fixture is 26" high with a cord and chain that is an additional 80" or so long, a wonderful addition to any room of your home very nice the pics don't do this justice a must see

It is missing the frosted Chimney and Reflector. The Original Wiring Still Present. Spread 8 1/4"Drop 12 1/2" One 60 Watt lamp. It shows little specks of white paint in places from someone painting while it was connected would be my guess. It's in beautiful condition. The 2 ornate pieces on the front I belive are aluminum which was a rare metal in the 1700's. One of the tin candle holders has an older repair securing it to the sconce but you have to look down inside it to notice.
