Antique Brass & Cast Iron Art Deco Chandelier 5 Sockets Hanging Cluster Light
Here we have an Art Deco hanging chandelier that holds 5 bulbs. This is an antique lamp that is brass and cast iron. The soceket cups and the shaft of the fixture are brass and the center star and circle are cast iron. The chain on this chandelier is a more recent vintage chain but could be easily replaced with one that would go better with the age of this lamp. As you can see it is in good condition but there is some wear to this lamp the worst of it shown in the last photo. This chandelier is about 15 inches in diameter and has a turn switch in the center that can turn the lights on and off. I would recomend re-wireing this before installation. I needed I can rewire this for you at a fee. You can contact me after winning the item if you wish me to do so. Any questions feel free to ask!

This porcelain enameled ripple wave shade is fitted into a cast iron fixture. There is some corrosion that you can see in the photos. The shade has white underneath. On the top it is light and dark green. The cast iron fixture has Art Deco markings on it. The fixture has a ring to use for hanging the light. Presented for auction is an antique cast iron kerosene/oil hanging lamp in very good condition. The metal pieces are marked Patent 1876 and 1877. The opal smoke bell is 3 3/4" in height and 4" in diameter at the base. The large slanted shade(also opal) has a 6" fitter. Is 4 3/4" in height and is 15 1/2" in diameter at the base. This is a rare and unique wall mounted light fixture. All hardware is included. The light hangs from a metal(cast iron? rod. And can swivel back and forth. The wiring. In my uneducated opinion, will need to be, at the minimum, repaired, and possibly replaced. Where the metal rod comes down, there is exposed cloth wiring about 4 inches in length where there should not be any. The total drop length of the light is 25" The wiring is of the cloth type and in places is very frayed. There is a clear glass hurricane surrounding the light bulb. Outside the hurricane, the lampshade is made of hobnail milk glass. This would be an exceptional piece and is well worth any repair that needs to be made. Up for auction is a cast iron hanging porch light. Made in the 20s to 30s right here in the good ole USA. Unique triangular design that really shouts Arts& Crafts style. This light is in great shape with no rust or pits anywhere.You see this fixture on occasion but missing canopy. Not so on this one as canopy is intact and in very good shape. Fixture was stripped down. Rewired, primed and sprayed with 2 coats high performance flat black. Original porcelain vintage lampholder was re-used and in great shape with no breaks. Mica inserts were cut and fitted in warm amber glow color and shows this fixture beautifully. Add this beauty to your collection or install for a warm and welcoming porch entrance. Great piece of American history not some piece of Chinese junk at Home Depot. Measurements: Lantern- 10 3/4" Overall drop w/ canopy- ... more13" Canopy- 5"x5"x5" triangle Base- 7 1/2"x 7 1/2" x7 1/2" triangle One thing to point out here is at some point the chain was shortened on this light probably to use in a lower ceiling. One of the mounting eyes had been cut to open to mount directly to other mounting eye. I closed the eye tighter and used a 2 part epoxy to seal the loop smooth. It is barely noticable on the light unless you look hard for it. Does not affect the light in any way but worth mentioning. Light was tested and works fine but have an electrician check it out before install. 60 watt bulb not included. Mounting hardware not included. Pair Early Cast Iron Outdoor Hanging Lantern Sconces Large Estate Lights
These are magnificent relics of a bygone age. They may have once hung from the tall pillars at the entrance to a grand estate. Or maybe they hung next to the huge front door. It wouldn't take much to restore at least one of them to their original glory. One has lost its finial and the other is missing a side panel. You can make one complete fixture from both. But. I think it's worth having sand casts made to replce the missing parts. They're huge! The mounting bases are 5" square. The scrolling bracket with acanthus leaf trim is 17" tall. The lantern is 5" square at the top and 3 1/2" square at the bottom. It's 11" tall without the finial. The whole fixture projects 9 1/2" from the wall. Each fixture weighs 10 pounds. Antique CAST IRON HANGING LAMP FRAME Parlor Bracket Oil Part 1800s-1900s
Awesome antique cast iron hanging parlor lamp frame/part Originally designed to hold an oil lamp(I think) It looks like someone had converted it to an electrical light many decades ago, as there is a socket in the"bowl" part that has cloth cord/wiring pieces attached to it and a hole on the side of the bowl for the wire to go through; these wires were snipped off since then and it looks like it wouldn't be too difficult to remove the socket piece to revert it back to an oil lamp holder Smaller in size than some of these old frames you see. It measures approx. 15" long and 7" across; probably designed to hold a smaller lamp-the bowl is just under 3" across at the top, narrowing down to just under 2" across as the bottom The iron is ornate and looks Art Nouveau in style. And the bowl piece was painted? a copper ... morecolor; the rest of it is more of a grey color, with what looks kind of like brass tones showing through in places; there's a small hanging hook at the top on the inside part as well as the top hanging ring, so you could easily turn this into some other type of hanging décor piece for your antique home or garden This piece is very old. Possibly dating to the late 1800s, and it shows much age wear and has some rust(see photos) but no cracks or breaks; overall, it is an interesting piece with great patina, and of course you could up-cycle/repaint it if you wish to make it look"newer" or just change the color Excellent find.
