Pair Vintage Old Ornate Cast Iron Double Socket Top & Bottom Shade Wall Sconces
Up for bid is an Early Pair of Cast Iron"Double-Socket" Wall Sconces. A shade would fit on the top of the sconce& one fits on the bottom. I don't have the shades. The sconces have a 3" fitter on the top& bottom. Both wall sconces are dusty. Show some paint splatters, top part of sockets are missing on one sconce, some scratches and/or rubs to paint. Little oxidation here& there. I don't see any breaks, cracks or missing parts to the cast iron. Will need to be re-wired to be safe. All of the fitter screws are there, but some are slightly bent. Antique Cast Iron Double Oil Lamp/Plant Sconce with Wall Bracket
Available for purchase. We have a beautiful antique cast iron sconce. These were used for oil lamps but are also great for hanging plants indoors or out. It has two platforms. The sconce measures 12-1/2" long and is 6-1/4" at its tallest part. The platforms are two different sizes. The larger of the two has an inside diameter of 4-3/4" and the smaller one has an inside diameter of 3-1/2" The wall bracket measures 5-1/2" x 2" at its widest part. The wall bracket is also very beautiful! I am not positive that this is the original bracket to this sconce but they were purchased together and they fit together. We do not have the screws that attach the wall bracket. Once the sconce is hung and placed in the wall bracket it will hang approximately 13-1/4" away from the wall.
