Early 20th Arts& Crafts chandelier with caramel slag glass lantern center body and two gas arms that have been converted to electricity. Four rectangular panels of caramel slag and the four bent glass panels in the access door appear to be original and free from cracks or repairs. Both gas arms have been electrified. Period keyless Edison sockets have been installed inside of the cast brass Acanthus leaf covers. The finial located on the bottom of each arm originally doubled as the gas shut off valve. The socket located inside of the center body is accessed via the bent glass panels door located on the bottom of the fixture. One side is hinged and the opposite features a cast brass latch. The door on the bottom has a hook to hold it closed. The hook has broken off from the swivel but is still there. The door will stay cllosed if you feed the hook through the latch. C1940's. No makers name or maker ... moreBeautiful 6 panel caramel glass with dark brown inserts between the panels which extend to the bottom of each panel surrounding 2 flowers with leaves at the bottom center of each panel. No breaks to the panels but 1 of the leaves has a few cracks(see last 2 photos) showing the inside of the area and the outside. There are some line marks which I think are just straw marks, not cracks look like impressed line marks see close-up photos of the lines. it has 8 chain links attached to ring. Congratulations you are bidding on a Set of old 8 panel Tulip Hnaging light fixtures. One is blooming and one is just opening. Beautiful set no cracks or repairs that we can see. Please use pictures to determine conditions yourself. Measurements on the open tulip Leaf Panels are 8" x 3.5" and the distance across the bottom is 12" and the height is almost 9 inches. The closed tulip measurements of the panels are the same 8" x 3.5" The fixture measures about 8" across at the widest spot and it is just at 9" tall as well. This is a used item, it may have scuffs or scrapes not mentioned or photographed. We test the item completely and will list any issued that arise.
