you are bidding to buy an authentic natural shell and brass lamp shade.it has six panels and measures about 4in by 4in.when it is lit you can see all colors of the rainbow.the shade just snaps over old style socket.probably dates between 1890&1910. this shade does unfortunately have some condition issues. one panel has a thumbnail size chip missing and is cracked. two other panels have some minor chipping.the three simple oval panels appear to be in good shape. the panels all seem to have some loosness(may be intentional) the brass parts all seem to be in good shape(no cracks or apparent damage)may have some other blemishes or scratches not mentioned.
