Antique Whale Oil Lamp Lantern Nautical Cape Cod Ship Brass Cut Glass
A nice early oil lantern. Unusual cut glass globe with brass ends. Has a metal swivel handle with hook to hang. Sits on a small brass burner. Working condition. You will need to fill with oil as I will be draining it to ship. Stands approx. 11 1/2" tall without handle. Glass is 6" diameter widest. Condition is good, glass does have some scratches to it. Also the burner does not connect to lantern, I'm not sure if it's missing some clamps or? Burner will wedge in to place, but, do not move or lift when lit as it could fall out and cause fire. Some corrosion especially at hinge of upper brass portion. No markings to burner or adjustment knob. A great piece, shows beautifully! Buyer pays shipping in the US of $16.55. BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE ANTIQUE ART DECO 5 ARM LARGE BRASS CUT GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. They are quite nice and have a ruffled top. The chandelier is very lovely and elegant. It is in very good condition ... morewith a beautifully aged patina. The wiring is cloth with some considerable wear. The chandelier measures 17" tall and 17" wide. The glass shades are 6.25" tall and 4.5" wide at the tops. They have a 1.5" fitter measurement. Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. The big center dome shade is 9 1/2" across the inside and 9 3/4" aross to the outside, and approx. 5 1/2' deep. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. The light DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS IN BRASS AROUND THE RIMS OF THE 4 OUTSIDE LIGHT, WHERE THE SHADE SCREWS ARE LOCATED, I do not think that these small crack will hurt any thing because when screwed in tight they hold the shades firmly in place. THERE IS ALSO A CRACK IN THE ADJUSTABLE TUBE, THAT ATTACH TO THE HOUSE CEILING FIXTURE(SEE PICTURES)All the shades are free of any cracks, but all have some light roughness, small flea bites around the top rims which cannot be seen when the shades are placed properly in the frame. A very unique pair of antique Vintage Brass Big Horn Sheep Wall Sconces Beautiful Cut Crystal Glass Globes. These were removed from a house in Dallas Texas that was built in early 1920s. They both do work. These were mounted above the fire place. Part of the reason the darkening on them. I believe it is brass for sure brass look maybe a cast metal instead of brass a magnet is not attracted to them. They are heavy for sure. The cut crystal glass globes are beautiful cut pieces. They are mounted on a wood plaque that screws into the wall. They are about 14" tall and 5 1/2" wide across the wood plaque and they will stick out from the wall about 8 1/2" not counting the globe, with the globes on they area bout 11 1/2" from the wall. One globe does have a small chip or this was from the making of them not sure on 1 of the crown ... moreor point pieces. there is a picture of it but hard to see. I can email a picture of 1 mounted at old house before it was removed if its needed.

It measures approx 8" at the widest point. 21" tall from the top of the chain to the bottom of the lowest glass dropper,very well made from solid brass with cut glass prism shaped droppers which catch the light very well, this would grace any room& will look even better when hung in place.
