I display them around my home on console tables,on top of piles of books, in curios, and under glass domes. It is a wonderful oval shape and has a gorgeous glass rosette flower on the top. In this case the heavy metal filigree frame is the vintage part, all the beading, prisms etc. has been added and is not original to this light. It is a one of a kind and would look great with Art Deco, Nouveau, Victorian, Asian, or Gothic decor. It has a very expensive, dramatic look that captivates that glorious era. The wide round ceiling rose has a mainly stippled background with swirling embossed leaf patterns. And it attaches to the suspension chain with a decorative bronze hook. A beautifully detailed rose sits at the top of the central column and is enhanced by four pairs of sparkling crystals. The tall central column is richly embellished with intricate leaf patterns and is made up of several complementing sections. From the centre of the column extend five elegant spurs. All with a pair of crystals at the end. The top and base of the main body of this lovely light have a matching elaborate foliate design with a contrasting plain centre band. It barely shows, but see photo. You can see slanted line to left of the swan in 7th pic. I took the shade off to put in bulb, and the bottom is damaged. It is covered, so doesn’t show. The fixture is ornate, and gold gilt. It is approx. 24“ long, and 7“ across. There is wear to gold in spots. There are two shades of gold. The wiring works fine, easy to rewire. The flower stems are white with sprouting leaves which have delicate hints of green. The faux rope holding the bouquet has a hint of pink. There are a couple of minor chips see last picture and it does need a clean. The faux candles have some minor nobbles around the tops. Up for auction is a beautiful vintage 3 arm wall light fixture. It is in wonderful condition and fully functional. This was removed from my grandmother's apartment when she moved a couple months ago. And was working 100% when removed. It is art nouveau/ deco style to emulate something from the 1890's to the 1920's, but very likely made in the 60's so you can rest assured it has relatively modern wiring and costs alot less than a true original of that era. Silver metal plated or gilded brass(not sterling or silver plate, just silver colored) Comes with beautiful spotted glass shade, as well as an unused extra glass shade!
