It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. This could easily be cleaned off but we did not want to ruin any of the original gold paint so we will leave it up to you. Never Any Reserve! All questions will be answered promptly! BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE ANTIQUE ART DECO 5 ARM LARGE BRASS CUT GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. They are quite nice and have a ruffled top. The chandelier is very lovely and elegant. It is in very good condition ... morewith a beautifully aged patina. The wiring is cloth with some considerable wear. The chandelier measures 17" tall and 17" wide. The glass shades are 6.25" tall and 4.5" wide at the tops. They have a 1.5" fitter measurement. We are pleased to offer this wonderful. Antique chandelier. This beautiful fixture features brass construction and hardware with pierced brass"slip shade" fitters. The center body of the chandelier is a large etched/cut glass vase with deeply incised pattern. The slightly curved 5 arms house exceptional cut glass/crystal, brandy snifter style shades. The shades have a deeply etched/cut grape and vine pattern. These slip shades simply sit into the fitter of the socket with no attachment screws. They are beautifully shaped and substantial in circumference for a fixture of this size. The fixture is in very nice antique condition. The brass has the expected aged patina which is beautiful. The shades are very good with some wear around the fitter area. The chandelier has the original cloth wiring. T his hanging lamp/shade is part of an estate sale. As pictured. Could use/recommended a new lamp kit installed. It is so ugly that I hope US customs confiscates it at the border and does not allow it into the country(USA) But.
