This floor lamp is approx. 66 inches tall. It has three lights with electric blue color globes(acrylic or plastic. Not sure! The stick was done in chromed color metal. It has a switch and it works. Materials: The corpus of the chandelier is mostly made out of brass elements. Each single one hold in typical, strict geometrical Machine Age design. The chandelier is additional adorned with thick-walled, square-shaped glass elements below the lampshadeholders as well as on the center parts. The lampshades are very elaborated, made out of molded glass and adorned with airbrushed pattern and gilded linings. Latter matches wonderful with the brass elements of the chandelier. The entire design of the chandelier reminds strongly on the Modernist works of french designer Jacques Adnet. The paper board socket cover has wear and you may wish to replace it but it is not necessary. Vintage Art Deco Wall Sconce Light Fixture Candle Style Very Nice Lightolier?
Here is a vintage/antique Art Deco Style Double Wall Sconce Light Fixture. Although it feels and looks like cast iron. It must be some other metal as it is not magnetic. It does however have a beautiful look to it, with golds, reds, and greens, in a wonderful old design. This piece measures 12" in height, is about 10" wide, and projects from the wall about 4" The original'dripping' candle paper light holders are in wonderful shape- one of them does have a slight tear on the back side. This looks like it could be a lightolier piece, but I can find no markings, other than 1004 S stamped in the bottom of each candle holder. Up for auction is a gorgeous and rare set of 2 original vintage working wall sconces from the Art Deco period. According to our research. This series of Art Deco lights was made by Lincoln Mfg of Detroit, MI, circa 1935, a key year in the height of the slip shade lighting era. Lincoln named this the" Fleurette Group" These sconce comes with pale pink frosted glass slip shades featuring a floral design. They set is in excellent condition and has a gold color to the sconce with pale pinkish glass slip shade. Sconce could be fairly easily polished to silver. These lights have been re-wired and are able to be plugged individually into a 110 wall outlet. We always recommend that you have an electrician verify the safety on items like this, though, as we did NOT do the re-wiring. But we have used them and they work fine. Because this ... moreset was wired to plug into outlets, they are ready to hang and would also be great for use as theatre props if needed. Beautiful antique wall sconce for restoration. Made of either copper or bronze, I cannot tell for sure. Switch was made by Leviton, back of sconce only says design and mechanics have patent and USA, no maker name that I can see. It measures approx. 13" in length, and is 6 3/4" at widest point. Socket says 125 to 250 V. This would take a slip shade, which unfortunately was not with it when found. Opening at top that shade would go down into(widest part) is approx. 5 1/4" It has original patina, but where some of the patina has rubbed off I see a some color to the metal, looks copper. OK so I found this amazing glass piece in a local barn. It's form the late 40's most likely and it would have originally been on something brass I'm sure. Vintage Mid Century White EXIT Globe Art Deco Style Light 6 1/2" RED letters
Nice old ceiling fixture EXIT sign. It is about 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches on 2 widest sides. 3 1/2 on other two sides. Diameter across the lip(to fit into fixture) is 3 1/4 inches. I'd say it is mid-20th century, typical EXIT light from those days painted white with large red letters. The side that would be facing the door has no letters as it would not be seen anyway. The bottom side angles slightly outward to peak in the middle. I found in a box of several of these and they appear to be old unused stock. There is some slight discoloration of the white paint which I can see upon close examination but I think just from aging. There are no cracks, breaks or chips on this globe. I think these slip shades are from the 1920-30 era. Last 3 photos show chips. One of the shades has a larger chip on the bottom part(photo 10) that is 3/4 inch long. That same shade has tiny chips on the edges(see last photo) The other shade has the chipping that is shown on 11th photo. No other cracks or repairs. See photos to see measurements. Here you will find a very beautiful example of the Art Deco style chandelier. I am unsure of the age. But I do know it is a vintage piece and in excellent original condition. Done in the geometric skyscraper design, it compliments the strong, sleek, graceful flowing shapes of that great Era. This chandelier is a very heavy, substantial quality fixture made by Lightolier, possibly by the designer Sciolari, although I am not certain. I have on rare occasions seen other similar smaller ones on Ebay that were designed by Sciolari. This one does have the Lightolier emblem. I have never seen one this large before. You can tell this was a very expensive chandelier, nothing cheap about it. It takes 12 small base bulbs and is an impressive 22 inches wide by 27 inches long. It is meant to be direct wired, flush with the ceiling. It could be easily ... moreconverted to hang lower, as it has an area where a chain could be attached. It is in great vintage shape, both physically and working condition. The 30 thick clear etched, frosted glass pieces are in perfect condition, no chips or cracks and all are accounted for. The glass pieces are 25 inches, 16 inches and 8 inches. The top is a super shiney chrome that further enhances the lighting with its fabulous reflective effects. The gorgeous light that this fixture disperses is very mesmerizing. It is a grand piece and displays as such. I have included photos of the beautiful effects with the use of a dimmer as well.
