This auction is for a vintage mid-century wall/sconce light fixture. it is a smooth frosted glass with a crisscross pattern throughout. It measures seven and one-half inches long. Three and one-half inches wide, and two and three-quarters inches deep. It is good shape except for a couple of very small nicks or chips to a couple of the corners(both are hardly noticeable, especially when it is secured up against the wall. These are in beautiful vintage condition showing very little if any wear to the gold paint but some tarnish to the brass tone bases see picture. The decorative gold painted are raised and have a very nice quality to them Finial balls appear to be milk glass and match nicely with the lamps. But are apparently not blown from the same frosted gold glass that the lamp bases are blown from, ... morehowever, we believe these harps and finials to be original to the lamps This is a very elegant& sturdy pair of matching 1950's Mid Century Retro lamps They work! Offered is a Vintage Art Deco to Mid Century Era(1920's to 50's) Leaded Stained Glass Hanging Light Fixture. The shade measures approx. 13" tall by 17 1/4" in diameter across the bottom rim. There is 16" of hanging chain. This fixture is in good working condition. The ceiling canopy(escutcheon) is included. There are a couple of gaps here and there between the glass panels and leaded frame. But all glass panels are still firmly intact. There are no cracks in the glass. There is a nice natural patina on the metal components. Some surface scuffs on the metal light fixture housing, and tiny air bubbles in the glass from the hand blown process, all consistent with a 60 to 90+ year old antique fixture. Vintage Mid Century White EXIT Globe Art Deco Style Light 6 1/2" RED letters
Nice old ceiling fixture EXIT sign. It is about 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches on 2 widest sides. 3 1/2 on other two sides. Diameter across the lip(to fit into fixture) is 3 1/4 inches. I'd say it is mid-20th century, typical EXIT light from those days painted white with large red letters. The side that would be facing the door has no letters as it would not be seen anyway. The bottom side angles slightly outward to peak in the middle. I found in a box of several of these and they appear to be old unused stock. There is some slight discoloration of the white paint which I can see upon close examination but I think just from aging. There are no cracks, breaks or chips on this globe. Fresh for your bidding consideration is this very nice Art Deco Three Light Mid Century Modern Ceiling light fixture. This great looking Deco Fixture has no damage noticed. Shades are break and chip free, chrome is intact and just needs to be cleaned and polished to be a centerpiece fixture in your home or business. ANTIQUE VINTAGE LIGHTOLIER ART DECO MID CENTURY SCIOLARI STYLE CHANDELIER 27"
Here you will find a very beautiful example of the Art Deco style chandelier. I am unsure of the age. But I do know it is a vintage piece and in excellent original condition. Done in the geometric skyscraper design, it compliments the strong, sleek, graceful flowing shapes of that great Era. This chandelier is a very heavy, substantial quality fixture made by Lightolier, possibly by the designer Sciolari, although I am not certain. I have on rare occasions seen other similar smaller ones on Ebay that were designed by Sciolari. This one does have the Lightolier emblem. I have never seen one this large before. You can tell this was a very expensive chandelier, nothing cheap about it. It takes 12 small base bulbs and is an impressive 22 inches wide by 27 inches long. It is meant to be direct wired, flush with the ceiling. It could be easily ... moreconverted to hang lower, as it has an area where a chain could be attached. It is in great vintage shape, both physically and working condition. The 30 thick clear etched, frosted glass pieces are in perfect condition, no chips or cracks and all are accounted for. The glass pieces are 25 inches, 16 inches and 8 inches. The top is a super shiney chrome that further enhances the lighting with its fabulous reflective effects. The gorgeous light that this fixture disperses is very mesmerizing. It is a grand piece and displays as such. I have included photos of the beautiful effects with the use of a dimmer as well.
