Art Deco Brass Pendant Light w/ Stepped Milk Glass Shade Industrial Schoolhouse
Impressive schoolhouse pendant light salvaged from a commercial building in Indianapolis. IN. Medium diameter milk glass shade has a classic stepped Art Deco shape. Canopy and 6" fitter retain a nice coppery brass finish. Socket has been rewired with period appropriate black cloth covered wire. Measures 48 1/2" long. Shade measures 12" wide. Upper portion of shade holder does have some tight splits in the brass, see image 7. Additional pictures and measurements available upon request. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Antique Ornate 3 Arm Cast Iron Chandelier Art Nouveau Deco Industrial Electric
Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! Vintage large art deco brass school store industrial ceiling light fixture
For sale is a vintage 1930 1940 school house industrial ceiling light fixture pendant light. The fixture hangs down from the ceiling about 50 inches. It could be easily shortened by taking out links in chain and shortening wire or it can be extended down further for those who have very high ceilings since there is another additional 32 inches of wire that extends past the canopy. Just add the desired length of links and you won't have to rewire since the extra wire is already attached. It has a great art deco milk glass shade that measures about 9 inches tall and about 12 inches wide at widest part. It has a six inch opening and is in great shape without any cracks and only minor flea bites along the edge of opening(see pictures) Very minor and does not interfere with the beauty of function of item since it fits inside the shade holder ... moreand is not seen. The shade holder and canopy are solid brass with a shiny finish(I don't think it is lacquered and will age to a beautiful antique brass finish over time. The fixture is in excellent working order with new wiring and a new porcelain bulb holder. This is a great vintage Art Deco light that is becoming harder to find in this size and in this excellent shape. It will add a great vintage industrial look to the room you place it in. C1915 7" Ruffled Holophane Shade 2.25" brass Hubbell Fitter Art Deco Industrial
Circa 1915. This HOLOPHANE electric light shade is classic art deco industrial. It is a is clear ribbed style with a scalloped or ruffled rim and a crosshatch pattern near the fitter. The shade measures 2 1/4" across the fitter opening. 7" across the bottom and is 4 3/4" tall. Marked Holophane and B 2. Excellent original condition with only a few TINY chips at the fitter. The brass fitter is marked Hubbell pat’d. It was painted black at one time, but this paint could easily be removed. The three brass screws have a sweet flower detail. Please see the pictures. Vintage Industrial Pair Paulding White Subway Tile Porcelain Art Deco Sconces
For your consideration is this great 1920's pair of white porcelain powder room sconces with shades. These sconces were manufactured by Paulding. Have nice detail and their original shades. They are in good condition and have pull chain on/off switches, both do click. The actual sconces are 6 1/4" tall by 4 5/8" wide, with shades they stand out from wall 7 1/2" As shown in photos, the sconces are not quite as pure white as the shades. They do both have plug-ins, the left hole is longer than the right, for modern plugs. Please notice, one of the pull chains is shorter than the other, these could be extended with a bit more chain, but probably would be hardwired to switch. As shown in the last photo, there is a small chip in the porcelain on the bottom behind the shade. The inside lip of the shades have the customary roughness ... moreseen in this type of sconces, maybe a few small chips, but I think they are just a bit rough from manufacturing. The 8 inch Ribbed Clear Glass Globe or Shade is in Fantastic Condition as well with no chips or cracks but it does have some very minor roughness around the opening where it fits into the fixture.the globe is held in place with 3 thumb screws. I'm not sure if this globe is original to the fixture but they were together when I purchased this light from an estate sale. I was excited when I found this. Every now and again you run across ordinary old things that are just super super cool and the perfect marriage of form and function from another time. This is one of those picks. An original. Working, copper art deco space heater. Just fabulous. Original patina, but I've included a couple internet pictures of one that had been restored. Marked, American Beauty Twin Radiant Electric Heater, American Electrical Heater Co. Made In Detroit, Patent Pending. Heater works when plugged in, but I'm not sure I'd trust the original fabric cord. My plan was to rewire it as a light and mount it over my industrial desk with a couple of small Edison bulbs. Alas, I have no time right now to do that. This would make an awesome entryway light. Gill Art Deco Industrial Pendant Light Fixture Rayed Fine Rib Bell Globe 1910 #2
This beautiful Art Deco Pendant Industrial Light Fixture with Clear Glass Rayed Fine Rib Zipper Pattern Bell Style Shade came from an old Woolworth Store that closed here years ago. The Globe is marked Gill Co. Inc. Pat'd 1910 and the turn switch on the metal fixture is marked is marked ARROW and has an arrow through an E. The globe as I said is bell shaped and has a row of fine ribs running down and there will be three plain and the fourth is zippered. It gives a nice pointed edge to the bottom where every one comes down. The glass is very clear. The top of the globe has some roughness inside the top open area that was in the making and has no chipping. This is seen with most old fixtures. The metal has been painted over to look bronze and the area where the paint is missing looks very bright. This could be removed or left alone. There ... moreis ceiling paint on the top ceiling plate that will remove easily. It is a flat type white. This light is meant to hang and move and has a chain it measures about 16"18" according to how it is adjusted. The globe is 6" tall and about 10" across the bottom. It is about 2 1/4" across the top. Antique Vintage Lighting Industrial Aluminum Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixture 30's
Description This listing is for a set of 10(ten) 1930's Vintage Light Fixtures. They were made by Curtis Lighting out of Chicago. As you can tell by the pictures. Everything that is in the picture is what you will be receiving. These fixtures are aluminum and in great shape to be from the 30's. They originally came out of a 2-story department store and have been sitting in the second story of this store ever since they replaced the lighting with florescent lights. The fixtures have been in the same store the entire time and very well cared for all these years. I have 10 of the actual large round light fixtures which if you look closely at the 10th picture. You can tell there is a gap on the under side which allows light to be reflected onto the ceiling. There may be some small area's with a few tiny rust spots, but not very noticeable ... moreas you can tell by the pictures. There are four layers and a shiny top which adds to the look of the fixture itself. These measure from the base to the tip of the top approximately 8 1/2 inches. The diameter measuring from the bottom outer edge is approximately 21 3/8" wide. I have 6 of the cone shaped pieces that fit into the larger round fixture itself. They have 3 longer pieces that attach onto the cone. At the bottom of these. There is a prong which simply slips into the fixture. I am missing one of the longer pieces which attach to the cone, however, you could easily make one yourself. As you can tell by the pictures, one of them is even held on by a screw(which could be cut down more flush to make it not as noticeable) Hanging from the ceiling-it would not be noticeable at all. These measure 12 3/4" measuring from the ground standing on the 3 prongs to the tip of the cone. The cone itself measures 8 3/4" and the diameter of the smaller hole on the top of the cone measures 3/4" The widest part of the cone at the bottom measures 3 3/16" I have 6 of the ceiling fixtures that attach to the top of the ceiling. THIS IS FOR 1 GLASS GLOBE AND FIBERGLASS SHADE. 2 AVAILABLE. Large Art Deco vintage Holophane industrial or commercial ceiling lighting fixture. This vintage industrial fixture has the standard Holophane prismatic glass shade and a rare exterior fiberglass shade cover that fits over the prismatic glass difuser shade to cover it and focus the light downward. The vintage industrial Holophane hanging light dates from around the 1950's to the 1960's. It has a reflective flat glass cover with a center hole that is secured onto the bottom of the globe. This piece reflects the light even more. The globe also has a tanish gold fiberglass cover that slips over top of the globe. This is an excellent 2 sided ruby red glass EXIT wall fixture in working order. It will fit most standard fixtures. There are several tiny chips on the rim that goes into the fixture. It came out of a building built in 1920's. The globe is original. And was removed when they updated the building. THE TIP OF THIS ONE IS NOT ROUNDED LIKE MOST BUT SQUARED OFF. Large Art Deco Industrial Diner Milk Glass Shade Ceiling Fixture
The fixture is probably pot metal that was plated with copper. It is worn and distressed. But I have left it alone, as it looks interesting and this sort of shabby appearance can compliment some decors. Otherwise, it's easily spray painted. The screws attaching the shade to the piece are new and gold colored, but I've left them alone to leave these aesthetic decisions up to buyer as well. It comes installed with a brand new socket, replacing an old, loose one with dangerous frayed wiring. I have given the shade just the briefest wipe down since it's large and fairly rare and I don't want to tempt fate. So there is a bit of detritus inside of it- see photo#12. It has some bubble marks(see photo# 5) that seem to be part of the glass itself, but is otherwise in very nice shape. The fixture is 4 3/4" high and 5 5/8" ... morewide with a 4 3/8" fitter. The shade is about 7 3/4" 8" high and about 8" wide. With fluted milk glass sides and an intricate clear glass bottom. The shade has a 3 7/8" fitter that goes easily into the fixture; please be sure that it is firmly and evenly in place and tighten the screws down completely to ensure that the glass does not slip out of the fixture when mounted. Please examine photos carefully and ask questions. As the large majority of my items range in age from mid-century modern to over a hundred years old and are sold in used, as-is condition. Thank you!

Art Deco Industrial Steampunk Ceiling Fixture Glass Shade W/ New Socket
Old pre WWII ceiling fixture with a great patina and a new socket with fresh wiring. Protrudes 3 1/4" from the ceiling. 6" across at the widest point with an approximately 3 3/8" fitter which is slightly bent(please see photo#5) that won't really show when the fixture is mounted. Has some small dings and dents which doesn't necessarily detract from the overall feel of the piece. The shade is light brown or champagne colored. With a bumpy texture and nice beaded details. It is enclosed on top- picture#6 shows the fitter end and#7 shows the top. It has a 3 1/4" fitter and is 5 1/2" high. When assembled. The entire fixture and shade protrude about 8 1/4" from the ceiling. Thank you!

At one time had a small automobile dealership office in it from the late 1920's through the late 1930's or early 1940's Now no one we talked to. Knew anything about this light fixture we found in the basement. A few other promotional items were found previously in the building in the same area of the basement. But those were kept ... moreby the owners grandson before the building was taken by the city for back taxes. Now many of you may or may not know that automobile makers used to give out various promotional gifts to dealerships. Some are more well known. But some were uncommon, and were not kept track of. Could this V8 light fixture be just that. One of those rare promotional gifts, possibly given out to celebrate the introduction of a"New" V8 engine? Notice the V8 design at the top of the fixture in pictures. We didn't find anything in our research specifically stating what different promotional gifts were given out but that there were various different kinds. some uncommon" given to dealerships by many of the different automobile makers, t o celebrate the introduction of new designs.
