This auction is for an Antique Art Deco 1920's Floral Ceiling Chandelier 5 Light Fixture in its Original Paint- it appears to be complete. It measures approximately 15 1/2" wide by approximately 21 1/2" tall including the chain and the ceiling cap. It has some corrosion on the metal and it needs rewired- there are no broken or repaired pieces. it would clean up better with a professional cleaning- I just cleaned off the surface dirt and left it how it came out of the estate.

The scones measure 10 1/4" in height with the back plate measuring 4 7/8" wide and it will stand out from the wall 3 1/2" from the back plate to the edge of the glass. The back plate is made of brass. The curvature of the glass measures 3" from the base plate to the maximum curvature and is 4" wide at the base. The glass is 7 1/4" high. The wiring is cotton braided. The light is operated by a turn knob located at the base of the light socket. Labeled on the back of each sconce is a sticker indicating the manufacture as GLOBE LIGHTING PRODUCTS CO. along with a union made label. There are no chips. 1920's Art Deco porcelain wall light sconce with underglaze floral decoration
Art deco porcelain wall sconce with floral decorations. This fixture was mounted in the hallway in the third floor of our old house built in 1925. The third floor had been unused for decades and I believe this was original to the 1925 construction. Piece is in very good used condition and is being sold as-is. There are some little discolored scuff marks. Probably from removing from the wall, I think TSP takes those off. The end of the little pull is painted wood and it's dirty and chipped a little. You can feel the painted floral pattern as though it were actually painted under the glaze and it'sin very good condition. I can't see any wires inside the socket, but this should certainly be rewired for use. The part that mounts on the wall measures 6&5/8 inches tall and 3&1/2" across at the widest. Piece projects about ... more4&1/8 inches from the wall. Overall piece is in excellent condition. But take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as-is.

Beautiful! A very romantic swag from the 1910's to the 1920's era or possibly earliy 1930's. Would look great in a kitchen or a bedroom with a white cast iron bed in it. I think this is iron painted. not sure. Love the floral basket design and the subtle pastel colors painted over the flowers. This originally had a custard glass shade on it which was painted quite fanciful and may have been Czech.not the one I just sold but another which suffered a tiny knick in it. p/ I may still have it if it wasn't thrown out? The paint on this is very dry and the whole fixture is shabby chic now but it can be fixed up or left as is. I love the lenght of it(39" in total) and the fact that much of it if not all of it is brass underneath. We have for sale this old light wall sconce. It's from the art deco era and the item measures 10/5/8" tall. 4 1/2" wide at back plate. The arms measure 8 1/2" arcoss, and it appears to be made from aluminum. There is a switch at the base and everything looks good but I would have an installer inspect the wiring for safety. Elegant Antique Porcelain Electric Light Wall Sconce, Floral Design, Art Deco
This very elegant antique electric light sconce is made of porcelain with an angular Art Deco shape and a subtle floral pattern. I don't see any manufacturer identification on it. But if it's a Porcelier, it might have come with a paper label that's fallen off. To give you an idea of dimensions. It is about 5¾" tall, 4" wide, and about 4" deep. Although the wiring looks old, we have hooked it up to test it, and it does work, porcelain pull switch and all. The bulb socket feels a little loose and wobbly, though, as if maybe it started out in life with a cardboard sleeve as a shim. Also, we haven't tested the built-in two-pin socket, and we don't have any of the hardware to attach it to the wall. Other than that it has some overpaint around the edges but otherwise looks ready to go. We aren't including ... moreany bulbs with it because they don't travel well. Maker unknown and a nice flush ceiling fixture for bath. Hall, kitchen and low ceilings. The base is a large 7 1/2 inches and a stamped brass with raised floral and leaf designs that have been refinished in an buttercream, rose and bluegreen. The base has a small ding on the side and a couple around the neck that is un noticed when hung, there is also about 5 stress cracks right on the side of the brass ceiling mount, They are stable, but could get worse without repair. The fixture is fully functional and has been cleaned and restored. The new socket is a medium base and the brass pull chain has been restored and rewired working very well. The glass is nice and chip free, has some minor dirt that can be cleaned off, the coloring of the glass is very good and has aged fairly evenly without any noticeable paint loss. The center beauty ring ... moreon the shade is held in with a nut and bolt, and cannot be taken off in an easy manner, there is rust and paint loss on the beauty ring also. There are four spots for prisms and a missing finial in the center. We have a semi complete one in a separate auction if you would like to see it hanging. This fixture has not really been modified at all, with the exception of the glass finial. Wonderful Art Deco ceiling Lamp shade with the original three hooks still in it that attach to a socket which would have three slots on the sides of it to"catch the hooks" Shade is undamaged. There is some oxidation to the wire holders and from underneath the little nobs at the end that hold the shade up from the bottom(3) are chrome and could be polished.
