We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. Description: This BEAUTIFUL semi-flush ceiling light fixture is from the 1930s-40s. The shade is a satin crystal color and measures 14-1/4 inches wide. The outside surface is textured all over. And has a raised, clear pattern, and a clear rim. The light hangs down a total of six inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. The shade is capped off with a solid brass finial. The porcelain fixture was made by Porcelier. And is an off-white, or ivory color, trimmed in gold. The fixture retains the original glazed porcelain sockets with brand new wiring, and it accepts three standard size bulbs, providing plenty of light. Authentic Antique Crystal Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light - Beautiful
For your consideration is this Antique Art Deco Ceiling Fixture. All original. Needs a good cleaning. I want to leave it in the condition I found it. No chips. Nice patina is forming on the metal portion of the lamp. At one time it had crystal prisms hanging from each side of the main glass. You can see in the pictures where they would hang. This would most likely have to be rewired. But worth the effort as the glass is Absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't do this piece justice. Measures 9.5" from top to base of main fixture and 9.5" wide from edge to edge of two outside glass lamp fixtures. Parts of the metal are rusty due to age, but is expected. Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. This is a very thick old frosted shade with a vining leaf design in clear actually cut into the glass. This is a gorgeous old shade! It has a crystal clear stem and candle cup with six prisms on top and twelve prisms around the bottom of the shade. This chandelier has lots of bling! It's so pretty when lit! Antique Art Deco Cream Colored Crystal Or Glass Hanging Chandelier
This is a great looking Art Deco hanging chandelier. I believe the shade is crystal. It carries a longer tone when struck. The shaft and cup at the bottom look to be glass. But I am not sure. The shade is about 15" across and the chandelier is about 13" tall. I do not see a maker's mark but I also don't know where to look. There looks to be an internal crack in the cup underneath the shade but you can't feel it when you run your hand over it. Purchased from a party who had several fixtures from a Mansion on the East Coast. This is a very rare style Antique Chandelier Balloon shape. It is perfect for a Nursery. Foyer, Dining area. It should be put somewhere that it can be admired. The chandelier is one that will not have a match. It is early 1900s, and looks as if it has been professionially rewires and works wonderfully as a light fixture should. The candleabra bulbs should be a flame style, but we only have the round ones. It would be even more beautiful with decorative bulbs. The body is meade of small glass beads and they are carefully held together with wire, and the prisms are crystall. The amber glass balls are all odd shaped, none perfectly round and with air bubbles in them. The candle covers are rough, and one is chipped at the bottom. I would have thought there would be a large prism in the center, could be added, but none came with the fixture.The body is 12 inches in width and 17 1/2 inches tall, the width is 12 1/2 inches and the total hang is 33 inches includes the crystals hanging. A very nice collectible decorative piece a Vintage Deco Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture Crystal Chandelier Glass Shade form the 1940s. This was from an estate sale in Dallas area. It along with some others that will be listed in next days are from old homes in South Dallas(Oak Cliff) that were torn down or demolished years ago. These belonged to the gentleman that owned the business of tearing down the houses. This piece has no chips or cracks and is a thick heavy glass. I will say as you feel the edges you think there is a chip but its the way the glass was made. There is also a couple of small bubbles in the glass. Art Deco Nouveau Lincoln Sconces Lights Fixtures Prisms Crystal
These are a pair of 1920's era original Lincoln Art Deco/Nouveau sconces. They are structurally in good condition with no breaks or cracks. The sconces have an elaborate detailed design throughout. The original finish shows wear in spots and they need cleaning. They appear to have the original wiring and switches which should probably be replaced. See pictures for greater detail. Crystal prisms hang from the sconces intended I think to cover the bulbs. Only 10 of the prisms are present but the sconces can hold up to 15 apiece. There have little holes in the metal to hold the wire of each prism. Replacement prisms can be found on ebay if you want more or they can be removed if they aren't your taste. Offered for sale is Antique Art Deco Heavy Glass Crystal Ceiling Light Shade. The shade measures 12 inches in diameter. The decorative band on the top of the shade is 2.25 inches wide. And the center of the bottom of the shade at the post hole is around four inches from the top of the shade. The shade is heavy glass crystal. And weighs around 5.5 pounds. There are several very small and very light scratches to the white frosting as shown in the pictures. A few small and insignificant rough spots around the edges, and some small chipping to the post hole which will be covered by the nut which secures the shade to the threaded post. Fantastic Art Deco 1940's glass ceiling light fixture. Parts of the fixture have been rewired with original sockets and is in excellent condition. This light will provide many years of service. The mounting hardware is included and light is ready for use. The heavy frosted 14 inch shade has a clear webbed center. The stem is 9 inches high and in a pineapple design. This light takes 4 standard base light bulbs. The original union made sticker still attached. The finial is an antique crystal teardrop. The fixture would hang down around 24 inches. Elegant beaded"bucket" chandelier, probably French or Austrian, encrusted with prismatic, leaded glass crystals, brass filigree accents, cast brass-plated fittings, brass chain, cast floral canopy with brass plating, circa 1920. The entire fixture is in excellent condition, with new wiring; all beads are intact on the shade, though it looks like the cast fittings around the rim may have at one time been embellished by a centered bead on each side-very difficult to see the tiny drilled hole. The Beautiful Glass Shade on this fixture measures an IMPRESSIVE 13 inches wide across the top and is approx 3 1/2 inches deep. It is shaped like a Large Lotus Flower with a Nice Soft Frosted and Clear Design. The shade is also accented with an antique brass finish shade cap at the bottom and a Beautiful Sparkling Crystal Ball Finial. This shade is in Excellent Condition with no chips or cracks but it does have some very minor roughness ... morearound the top rim that faces the ceiling. It also has some minor roughness around the center mounting hole and it has a second smaller hole off to the side of the center mounting hole. This smaller hole was probably used for a pull chain at one time or another but it is completely covered with the shade cap and will never be seen once the fixture is mounted to your ceiling.I just wanted to mention it for accuracy. MAGNIFICENT ANTIQUE ART DECO 3 TIER WEDDING CAKE CRYSTAL CHANDELIER, C.1930
Magnificent antique art deco 3 tier 3 light wedding cake chandelier c. 1930* This is a beautiful antique art deco era 3 tier wedding cake chandelier from an old New York city estate sale. The measurements are 10 inches wide at the top tier and 18 inches high from the bottom finial to the top finial. The chandelier has been rewired. It has 12 inches of fancy brass chain which is easily adjustable. The color is gold. The chandelier is decorated with 164- 2.5 inch old fire polished bohemian crystals. The crystals have had new brass bow tie connector pins added on. The chandelier has 3 candle sized keyless sockets. I used 75 watt chandelier light bulbs. The ceiling canopy is 5 1/2 inches wide. Antique Art Deco Period Crystal Glass Chandelier 5 Swirl Arms
Beautiful all glass crystal chandelier from the 1930's. It has 5 arms and comes with 20 eight sided prisms and 8 3 sided prisms that I took off for the pix as they are different. 6 of the 3 sided prisms were on the top and one was on an arm. There are holes for 46 total prisms. 8 per arm and 6 on top. There is no noticed cracks or chips on the arms or body. A couple of the prisms have small chips. The chandelier was not tested. But all fixtures and wiring looks good. It was in operation until recently from the estate it comes from. The chandelier measures 22" wide and 18" tall. Each arm can swing 90 degrees left or right. Very nice piece that pictures don't do justice.
