Antique ornate metal leaves roses Art Nouveau Arts & Crafts mica sconce shade
Super ornate Nouveau/Arts& Crafts period double sconce shade with mica. This piece will need a good bath. But there are no broken or missing pieces. It is a symmetrical bunch of branches/leaves with three roses. The leaves will need a little tweaking to get everything perfectly symmetrical, but that should only take a few minutes. It could be refinished or used as is after cleaning. The shade is 7 inches high and 8 3/4 inches wide. The mounts are 4 1/2 inches center to center. The mica is a bit rough, but it's still there. WOW! Art &Crafts Period Brass Metal Original Glass Shades Ceiling Light Fixture
Excellent Brass& Glass Art& Crafts Period Light Ceiling Fixture. A Truly Great Large Craftsman Fixture! Nice Patina on the Brass Base. The Base is Excellent(see photos) The White Glass Shades Are All Original. They are great as well- a little roughness and tiny chips along the inside of the rim on a couple of them- hardly noticeable but had to be mentioned for the Ebay microscope. Someone before me went through this fixture and updated the wiring and the sockets. In the process they changed the individual lights from having switches to having the whole fixture hardwired for connection to the ceiling and then controlled by a light switch. See photo# 9- the oval shaped hole where the switches once were. I am glad they kept the original brass socket covers even with the switches gone. They have a nice. Consistent patina and match the ... morerest of the fixture. One of the loop attachments to the brass socket covers has"opened up" see last photo) It does not negatively affect anything in terms of stability, again, had to be mentioned. I will repair or replace that before shipping. It measures 16" in overall height from the bottom of the shades to the top of the fixture where it connects to the chain. It is about 21" across at its widest points. The shades are 6" in diameter and about 4-1/4" in height. The circular center of the brass fixture is 11" in diameter. This is a vintage Arts& Crafts or Mission style porch light lamp. It has a witch hat style top and strap frame. It is made from aluminum and all the exterior parts are not magnetic. There The clear glass cylindrical textured glass shade is in good condition. NICE ART AND CRAFTS SLAG GLASS GOTHIC HANGING PORCH LIGHT
This auction is for a neat Art and Crafts period Gothic style hanging porch light. It has 8 slag glass and amber glass panels. The light has a great look but has a few minor losses that are not too noticable. Especially if it is hanging. First it is missing two decorative finials, one on one top corner and one on the bottom. One amber glass panel has some light crackling to the glass. It is not broken through and the glass is in tact. It is also missing the piece that would cover the wiring where it gos into the ceiling. There is some light paint loss to the metal but it only serves to give the light character. Featuring an antique three chain shade with clear and ivory satin glass sunflower design, fixture is metal(probably steel) with a sort of"arts and crafts" style, painted ivory. Shade hangs from 3 chrome chains. New socket and wiring, the socket will easily take a 100 watt bulb, possibly higher, this is up to the buyer. The shade has some water marks on the satin parts of the glass, they are not obvious but the price is much lower than usual for this type of item because it is not"new" looking, it definitely has some antique patina as does the fixture. Reduced Rare Art Nouveau Crafts Large Cut Glass Dome Chandelier 3 Frosted Shades
Hello. Welcome to our auction of this original Art nouveau brass chandelier with large central frosted& cut glass dome and 3 large pendant lantern lights suspended down from the centre piece. The ceiling rose measures 8.5" wide and 4" tall. The main frame is 17" across and 5 1/4" tall. it measures a total drop from the ceiling of 34" With each side pendant on a chain of 3 links and total length from the top if the frame of 16.5 inches. It will require a re-wire and small amount of attention to the metal links holding all the pieces. It still has the ceramic rise& fall fixture within the ceiling rose. Which now has a metal hook. Each of the pendants has the old white ceramic edged screw fittings(normal width) There is a suspended arm adjoined to the frame which holds a bulb to the centre if the dome. For the ... morepurposes of the photos I have suspended the light over a single energy bulb.not the brightest. But I think this gives a basic idea of how it could look. The glass is in near perfect condition with only a couple of light edge marks where the small screws have held it in place. The dome and other 2 lanterns are unmarked. Gorgeous antique light fixture. Featuring a cylinder amber glass shade in a brass fixture, four rods with finials on both ends hold the glass shade in place. The fixture is solid brass, it has a brass toned paint on it which is original, this could be stripped however and this would really shine. It has some minor stress marks and dents typical of brass, but nothing major, some wear but could easily be used and displayed as it is. It has been rewired with a porcelain socket and new wiring and could take a 100 watt bulb if desired. Original mounting hardware. The only replacement part on this aside from the socket is the finials on the bottom of the fixture which are new, solid brass- one original finial was missing so they were replaced. A nice set of very old art deco/ arts& crafts chandelier lamp shades. Cream/ custard glass. yellowish- off white) Set of 7. Dimensions are Neck opening diameter 1 1/2" Top Opening diameter 3 3/4" Overall diameter 5 1/2" Height 3" These look great lit. A nice soft light. Weight is about 1/2 lb each. Required packing will make this a relatively heavy package of about 6 lbs. Although the glass is thick it is delicate. Top opening is a fairly rough cut( see photos) and appear to be a mold blown glass. The neck opening is polished quite smooth.

This auction includes only the 3 items you see on the red table. Namely a super RARE PAIR of mica torchiere shades(art deco or arts& crafts style) and one metal torchiere shade base. Not included is the gold floor lamp base in the first photo. I've always loved my lamp and years ago. I ran across the pair of'spare' shades and extra base that I purchased. My loss is your gain as you can make your own torchiere lamp or solder a frame onto the shades to use them on a floor lamp, etc. Many possibilities! You get: Pair of sturdy mica shades which have alternating silver bands and mica bands. Shades are about 9.5" tall. 7" diameter at top, and 4" diameter at bottom where they fit into the(single) metal base. Shades are in nice vintage condition, but note that the silver bands have a bit of the silver missing here ... moreand there in a few places. One silver colored torchiere shade BASE. It is heavy. It seems to be made of cast metal? steel? and measures 11 1/2" long x 4 3/4" wide. The turn switch is right under the bulb holder and it says P&S on it and seems to be in turning working condition. On the socket it looks to read 250VV 50V PAT'D JULY 1909 read through a loop. It does have a couple of very minor small places with very light paint loss. I don't see a makers mark on the back. Up for sale is this matched set of two antique cast iron wall sconce. They are in just as found original condition. Both have there original pull chain Leviton porcelain sockets and old cloth wires. They measure 9 1/2 inch tall. 5 1/2 inch wide, would stick out from the wall 4 inch, takes a standard sized light bulb. They have not been tested to work, they are antique and would need the wiring checked by a professional to use. Condition is very good antique, original painted finish is better than most of this age I have seen, no chips or cracks in the cast iron. Here is an antique four-shade hanging ceiling light fixture made of brass with soldered seams/ joints from the 1920's or 30's. With 4 etched green glass shades. About 26" tall, and includes the top brass plate to hide the electrical junction box. In good condition, the brass has not been touched or cleaned and has the uniform tarnish of 80- 90 year old brass. The green glass shades are 5-1/5" high with 4-1/4" dia bottoms, with an etched pattern(all 4 shades the same) and note that all have some small chips and one shade has a crack from top to bottom. The 4 bulb sockets are original and have mica insulation washers that I tried to show in photos. Please note that this may well need rewiring, has the original cloth-covered wire, and some of the set-screws to hold shades in holders are missing. REWIRED Mission Arts and Crafts Art Deco Flush Mount Ceiling Fixture
A great cast iron piece with what appears to be copper plating almost thirteen inches across and about seven inches wide. The finial is just over one and three fourths inches long and the fixture protrudes four and a half inches from the ceiling. Finial included. The original sockets remain attached to the fixture, as they are molded into it, but the wiring and chain pull mechanism are brand new. Some of the paint on the sockets has worn off, which could be retouched or left alone, as it doesn't necessarily detract from overall beauty and feel, especially if one is looking for a shabby vintage look. The shades are in good condition. No chips or cracks. The metal fixtures are cast aluminum. The sockets and rotary switches have been replaced. There are no issues with the fixtures. STUNNING ANTIQUE HAND CRAFTED CHANDELIER: Beatiful finish in deep antique brass with bronze high lights. Meticulous restoration with attention to all details. Finish. Wiring, candle covers, and sockets are all new. Look is vintage 1920's with some distressing and subtle use of dark pigments to add an aged appearance. Mostly solid brass, center of lamp body is cast metal, all other pieces are brass. This is a nearly one hundred year old fixture so expect some minor defects as you would with any piece this age. New period correct cloth wiring runs through chain to ceiling cap. She is fully functional and ready to install including all needed mounting hardware. Ready for another 100 years!
