This lamp is being sold as-found for parts and repair. There are a couple tiny cracks in the fitters as you can see. There is also signs of rust on the thumb screws as well as the chain which would need to be cleaned up. It looks as if someone had started to restore this lamp but never finished. There are new wires as well as new sockets and it is being sold as working. The lamp shades shown in the pictures will be included. The glass lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. The fitter size is a standard 2 1/4" so most antique lamp shades would fit this lamp. This lamp also comes with the ceiling canopy and the original mounting bracket. Vintage Colonial Style Five Arm Metal Light Fixture
Vintage Five Arm Colonial Style Light Fixture- Up for auction is a charming light fixture. It is metal and probably from the 1940's. It looks to have been spray painted an off white. But the floral motif around the bottom is original. There is a three way switch on the side of the center post(as shown in the photos) One turn lights the bottom light that comes from the base. The second turn lights the five arms and the last turn lights all of them. The wiring works fine, but strangely, they have it extended to be a plug in. I would guess you can shorten it to be a direct mount by cutting the wire. There's about 8" of chain so it can hang directly from the ceiling. The light fixture measures about 20" long and 20" wide. We have a Wonderful Old Shabby Cottage 5-Arm Chandelier. Measure's. 24" diameter. 14" tall, with a additional 16" in chain. Arms project 10" out from center piece. The center piece that holds the arms. The arms, and the plate that goes on ceiling are metal. The pieces above and below are made of wood. At one time the wood piece's were White. This has all chipped off. The ceiling plate has Rust, and there paint loss on the arms(please see all photo's for condition) The old wiring is still attached but should be replaced. 5 Arm Light Chandelier Pineapple Leaf Metal Hanging Vintage w Socket Covers
A vintage chandelier made of metal. There are five arms that move a bit as seen in the pictures. The top is decorated with what looks like pineapple top leaves. The tall white socket covers are all there. The bulbs I used to show that it works are not included. I could not find a makers mark. The metal chain is approx 1 foot long. It is approx 17" tall by 23" wide and is light weight for it's size just weighting over 3 pounds. The electric cord has been worked on and has electric tape on it. I have wiped the AZ dust off of it but it will need more cleaning. The metal looks like it is oxcidated and that it might be able to be polished or painted. The light is being sold as is.
