The shades are 3.50" tall. There is a twist on/off switch. The shades have an"old glass" feel. There is a rim chip and resulting crack on one shade which can be turned to the back to hide it. Antique Ornate 3 Arm Cast Iron Chandelier Art Nouveau Deco Industrial Electric
Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! Up for your consideration is a great antique pair of wall sconces. They have faces on each one and have a design that looks like a rope on each arm. These lights need to be hardwired. They all have pull chains. However one is not the original. The one shows wear on the back plate. This is an impressive antique chandelier! Large. Bold, twisted, wrought iron, candles, cut out metal shades, scrolls, hooks, 5 lights- IT'S ALL HERE! oh and lots of dust too! No idea the history of this piece. It's from an old house in Portland but no idea the age. All the scrolling. Hooks and twists are wrought iron. The lights are faux candles in candle holders that looks like wood and metal with wax drips. They are welding to the wide center band. Lots of twists and design! The shades look like weathered copper, so does the wide band that has each light welding on to it. The bottom and the top finial are also ornate! The chain and ceiling cap are also wrought iron. This ceiling fixture needs to be hard wired in. The wiring looks good! each' candle' light measures about 15 inches tall. Candle flame looking light bulbs are ... morepresent. At the widest point from end to end of opposite lights- measures about 23 inches across and overall height is about 18 inches. This light weighs on its own about 13 pounds. This item came from a local estate sale and was still on wall. This listing is for a ANTIQUE WESTERN ELECTRIC CO INDUSTRIAL SCISSOR SWING ARM LIGHT FIXTURE. The patent dates are from 1904-1909 stamped on metal. The Western Electric is hard to make out without a loop. The 100 year old light is in nice condition with all parts working properly. I rewired the light with braided parallel wire and installed new socket insulators for safety and authentically looking. The wall bracket is 3 inches and hangs 15 inches on wall. The Scissor extends 2 feet from wall and has a 17 inch droop. On one side is patented in US may 11.1909 Pat applied for. On stem is Patented August 16 1904 September 13 1904 Patented applied for. 54890 PR ANTIQUE 1900 ELECTRIC FRENCH ORMOLU BRASS 2 ARM SCONCE W GLASS SHADES
An unusual pair of antique. Circa 1900, electric sconces in Louis XV Rococo style. Ormolu brass with screw secured cut and frosted glass three shades(one missing. Three(of four) removable ormulu crowns rest on the tops of the shades. Unmarked, probably French made. The sconces total measure 19" tall, the sockets 7" from the wall and 9" from each other. The wall plates measure 11" tall by 6-3/4" wide. The shades are 4-1/2" tall 3-3/4" diameter, the fitter rims 1-3/4" diameter. Both with new cord and sockets. Missing the wall bolts for mounting. Minor base chip to one shade. Fine original ormolu finish unworn. The pair is for one price.

A very fine antique. Circa 1890's, Rococo ornamented, brass combination gas and electric chandelier(now converted to all electric. There are three contemporary satin floral glass shades, and three plastic candle surround sockets. The fixture measures 26" tall from ceiling canopy down to teardrop finial, the candle bobeches 12" wide from the center axis. In working order with new cord and plug for ceiling connection. Excellent condition: original finish brass without dents. Pair 3 Arm Antique Electric Wall Sconce Fixtures + 4 Old Shades Edison Pat 1890
A matching pair of three arm antique wall sconces. 2 arms down.center arm up. They are brass I believe. Magnet does not stick anywhere. The down arms have 2 1/4 inch fitters as do the old shades that were on them. a couple of the fitters are bent. They have a Victor patent date of sept 23 1890. The sockets say Edison Patents. The turn switches say Bryant. On the bottom of the 2 center sockets it looks like at one time a pull chain had been there. No other markings. The caps that cover the wall have been cut out for some reason and have paint on them here& there. No splits bends or breaks in the arms. Overall wear to finish. No chips or cracks in the 4 shades other then normal fitter wear. Rare and good looking pair that need some help from a lighting guy.
