Architectural Salvage Antique Vintage Lighting x 2. I DO NOT know the age of these lights. But what I can tell you is that our home was built in 1870. I know that it was remodeled but I do not know when. We are updating the entire house now and I would really like these fixtures to go to someone whom appreciates them. They are very stunning and very eye catching. Each fixture holds 3 lights and as far as we can tell, they work well but that was on a quick test run and were never used on a daily basis but for the right person they would have No issues fixing any problem with them. Please take a close look at all of the pictures and the details. From the top to the bottom measures approximately 14 inches and the width is just under 13 inches. An old Architectural Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixture. The fixture is impressed. Max Schaffer Co. It is made of cast iron with a brass tube down the center. The fixture is 20" long and weighs over 7 pounds. 1 of the 3 main ornate cast iron parts is separated near the top. It appears to be a fairly clean break. It looks like it was cleaned and prepared for a repair that was never completed. We don't know if it can be fixed or if the fixture is just good for parts. Please see enlarged pictures for condition. Here's a bit more about the History of where these came from: History The YMCA of the Rockies has a rich and colorful history spanning more than a century. The Rocky Mountain Region had been the site of YMCA summer encampments since the 1890s. But the resort locations were deemed unsuitable ... moreby many participants. At the 20 th State Convention held at Canon City in 1906. It was decided to establish a permanent summer training center for YMCA professionals somewhere in the Rockies. In July of 1907. 23 YMCA men met in Grand Lake, Colorado to discuss incorporations of the Western Conference of the YMCA. While there, they scouted for possible sites for a summer school to be held the next year, 1908. Finding nothing appropriate. They decide to travel over the continental divide to Estes Park. A group of six men, led by William E. Sweet, hiked from Grand Lake, stopping overnight at the Wind River Lodge. The beautiful setting and views of Mt Ypsilon were just what the men were looking for. Ninety-three men attended the 1908 summer school and it was considered to be a rousing success. Vintage Architectural Black Painted Brass Outdoor Street Lamp Lighting Lantern
Up for auction is a vintage antique outdoor 19" street lamp style brass metal painted black lantern. Recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is found in good used condition but has many losses to its original black paint. It does not attract a magnet so you will not have rust issues with this piece. The top has been caved in and might pop back up, uncertain. This would have been wall mounted, common in cities outside large stores ca 50's maybe even 60's, indicated by the wires and inner porcelain fixture's threading. This has Union made stickers. architectural salvage lighting medallion 5 light ca. 1920 Detroit as-is ornate
Hard to find. Antique plaster very ornate scrolling ceiling medallion light fixture circa 1920's salvaged from a torn down apartment bldg. in Detroit, Michigan. It is white. It is in'as-is' good condition with a large rim slice chip on one point that could be easily covered up with some paint and you would not see it. I have 4 total, with 3 more in varying, much better condition, the auction is for this one only. It is 16" in diameter and 3" thick at the middle. has some surface age cracks in the paint finish which you would expect for the age. It is in as found, as-is condition with the old wiring still attached to the back and some surface dirt. There are 5 light sockets in it. It weighs 8.5 lbs without packing. Vintage Cast Iron Metal Chandelier Ceiling Light Fixture Architectural Lighting
Vintage cast iron chandelier. Cast iron with accents of a metal coppered color around light sockets. Very good condition with the exception of needing wiring and a good cleaning. Weighs over 6 pounds. Base is 15" across. Height not including chain 12" and there are 8" between each bulb socket. Very nice!
