Pair of ornate fancy vintage Victorian cast iron swivel wall mount sconces. Each sconce has the marking"VM" or possibly"VCM" in the bowl and the numbers"6-1" There is no damage that I could see to either. They are approximately 12" long and 10" high. The bowls that holds the oil lamp or candle have a diameter of 5" at the top and just over 3.5" on the bottom. The bowls have a height of just over 2" Neither sconce includes mounting hardware. Antique Brass Eagle Candlestick holder Wall mount Sconce
For auction is a very neat and old piece. This is a solid brass eagle sconce meant to hold a candle stick and mount on a wall. I don't know much about it but it appears to be very old and was likely taken out of an old Baltimore estate. The piece is in excellent condition with only one slight blemish to the top of his head(you cannot see looking face on. Only if you are looking down on the eagles head) but it is not something that one should worry about. Measures 11 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Is made of solid and sturdy brass. This is a rare and unique wall mounted light fixture. All hardware is included. The light hangs from a metal(cast iron? rod. And can swivel back and forth. The wiring. In my uneducated opinion, will need to be, at the minimum, repaired, and possibly replaced. Where the metal rod comes down, there is exposed cloth wiring about 4 inches in length where there should not be any. The total drop length of the light is 25" The wiring is of the cloth type and in places is very frayed. There is a clear glass hurricane surrounding the light bulb. Outside the hurricane, the lampshade is made of hobnail milk glass. This would be an exceptional piece and is well worth any repair that needs to be made. Vintage antique HICKLEY Lighting PAIR wall mount fixtures brass no glass
Offered is a pair of brass wall mount light fixtrues from the Hickley Lighting Co. Original mounting hardware is included. Wiring is still there but I do not know if it is still good. The glass that was originally in the fixtures is missing. The last picture shows what the original glass looked like and what the complete fixture looks like. They still make glass that looks almost identical to the original glass and can be found at a stained glass supply store. Each fixture takes 1 pane of glass 6" X 4 3/4" and 3 panes 7 1/4" X 4 3/4" They are held in place by attached clips. 1 fixture has 3 small areas where the brass was polished a little. On one fixture the backplate is bent a little. The fixtures are in nice condition but tarnished. May have some minor scratches but no dents. Earlier on eBay I sold some complete fixtures ... morebut these 2 are the last I have. They came off a building that was built around 1930 and was being remodeled about 10 years ago and have been in storage since. Brass, and glass ornate wall mount oil burning lamp sconce. the wall mount is very ornate and made from thick heavy iron which is beautifully wrought by hand. it has nice swirled designed which vary in thickness and is painted black. the mount holds the painted brass half circle for holder. the font holder holds the antique Miller brass oil burning font. it has a unique retractable shade arm attached which holds the large shade and clear flute shade. the large shade is a nice bright yellow color. Made from thick glass, and has a wonderful white lining. the piece is in great shape and measures 26 inches up and down by 10 inches wide and sits 14 inches from the wall. Antique Cast Iron Light Fixture, Wall Mount, Painted, Electrified; Early 1900s
This light fixture/sconce is electrified now and from the condition of the wiring has been for a long time. It may not have always been the case as it looks as if it could have originally been a candle holder. The bulb receptacle which is badly broken is relatively new and the cardboard holder into which it fits is badly torn. Neither are repairable and would need to be replaced. The fixture itself is a heavy metal. Cast iron I believe, and the white paint may cover other coats of paint. There is some surface rust mostly where the paint has chipped off. The length is about 9-1/2" and the fixture would stand out about 6" from the wall. This light fixture was acquired at an architectural salvage auction. This is an antique oil lamp with a glass hurricane complete with a metal wall mount mercury-type reflector holder. This item belonged to my grandmother who passed away many years ago. Check out my! Antique Gothic Single Dogs Head Wall Mount Sconce This is a single Light made by T.C. Virden in Milwaukee. It is a Cast Iron 1930s Wall Sconce Light Fixture. This Light is called"Dogs Head Series" because dogs heads were cast into the fixture. This can be seen in pictures. It is basically two toned Brown and Bronze in color. It is in very good condition. There were slight touch ups on a few scuff places. Otherwise it is original paint. Candle stick needs some paint and imitation wax repair.This light has original wiring, so will have to be rewired. ANTIQUE LIGHT FIXTURE / SCONCE, DOUBLE, GLASS SHADES, WALL MOUNT, UNIQUE, VG.
This antique double wall light is made of brass and has 2 heavy frosted. Ribbed, bell shaped glass shades- it is in very good condition. There is some light pitting on the metal shade bases. The wall mount base has decorative designs and is in very good condition. There are 3 thumb screws on each shade base to secure the shade. The light fixture measures approximately 10" high X 15" wide X 8" deep. The glass shades are 6 1/4" in diameter at the bottom edge. There is a hole in the middle of the wall mount base to attach to a back plate(not included) This would be a great fixture for a restoration home or for the antique lover. Vintage Brass Light Fixture Orante Wall Mount Antique Lighting
This is a nice antique wall fixture. Dimensions are 15" tall and 7.5" across. One of the mirrors inside has come off its mount but should be easy to fix. See pics for cosmetic condition. It and the others I have for sale were removed from 1800s townhouses in Georgetown. Washington DC and bought by my father in the 70s and have been in storage since. Wall Mount Two 2 Light Fixture Bronze Alabaster Gold Antique Reproduction Indoor
Price is for 1 Light. These wall mount light fixtures were purchased 9 years ago at approximately $225 apiece. We recently remodeled the bathroom and they no longer compliment the decor. I would not be selling them otherwise as I like them very much. They are antique reproductions of lights that were on a luxury liner. But I do not remember which one(not the Titanic; I would remember that! Each fixture measures 23" W x 9 3/4 H. The alabaster shades protrude 9 1/2" from the wall at the furthest point. The back plate measures 10 3/4" W x 7" H All measurements are approximate. All parts and wiring is intact on both fixtures. I'm not sure what the body of the fixture is made of. It is not wood. I used 40W clear vanity bulbs.

Beautiful antique wall sconce. Got this from a 103 yr old home we are renovating. Works great. Beautiful piece. Don't know what it is made of. Brass, bronze, copper, tin. Copper color finish. Light weight. Wall mount. Measures 12 1/2 inches tall over all. Thinner glass shade is 5" tall other shade is 4 1/2 inches tall. Wall mount is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. When mounted it sticks out 10 inches from wall. Very good condition. No damage. Normal wear. Rare beautiful piece! I have 2 available/posted.

This is an exquisite pair of antique gold gilded and lacquered bronze wall mount electric sconces. They are very ornate. Made from thick heavy bronze, and are wired ready to hang. each sconce holds two generic sized bulbs and has candle shaped sockets. the backplates are very ornate and have acquired a lovely patina from age. they are in great condition and each measures 12 1/4 inches long by 9 1/2 inches wide and sits 5 inches from the wall. it needs one socket cover but are very inexpensive and can be purchased at any local lighting store.
